BMW and M Power Owners

A couple of questions for those that have claimed under the BMW extended warranty:

- If an issue appears to be fixed, but returns within a few days - is this dealt with under the original claim or in a second excess payment required

- If two issues are reported together, does this count as one "claim" with one excess payment

1 - original.

2 - one claim.

w00t looks what I've got. Wanted to replace my wife's old banger with something I could also use on good day to go to the office... Pretty good nick, 60k on the clock, 2.8i engine. Well chuffed!

@BusError the 2.8 are going up in value! Good, probably won't loose any money on it.
Yeah I know, they are JUST at the time where they aren't considered 'classic cars' and are sufficiently modern to be nice to drive -- while still being 'small'. Personally I don't really want to drive without ABS and so on these days (especially with my wife driving it most of the time!). I paid £4200 for it, I expected to pay a bit more, so I can also spend some money into making it as nice as I can...

Indeed, my 3.0 Z4 was only a few hundred more, although mileage is significantly higher at 100k. A fair few stone chips and the like, sound mechanically though, so maybe I got lucky?
Did also buy it in late winter so the weather may well have an impact!

That said, the Z3 wasn't for me, feels smaller inside and when you're 6 foot that isn't a good thing!

It's only 6cm shorter :p

Is there a reason you didn't at least go for a 3.0 Z3?

Harder to find really, and thus higher prices. Mrs wanted something she like as well, and the combo oxford green/coffee/wood definitely ticked her boxes... Personally I would have loved 3.0 and sport seats, but technically it'll be her car, and I'll be able to borrow it ;-)
