Stickers bought from the ring back in september. First day I’ve spent properly washing the car, hence I took a few pictures :D I’m happy with them :p

I almost took the car to have the rear lights slightly tinted but I wasn’t 100% sure, hence I didn’t take it down :p

It can happen if the car is doing very short trips but the service interval should drop automatically to accommodate this. You need to confirm how often it is doing a regen if it's well under 300 miles something is wrong, this information is available via diagnostic software. Normally it would be an issue causing the engine to generate more soot EGR valve, leaking injector, leak/hole in the boost pipes/intercooler etc. It could also be an issue with the sensors on the exhaust that detects the soot levels.

You should get the oil changed as the level is increasing due to diesel mixing with the oil.

Thank you very much, I will get them to investigate further then. I've ha the oil changed, I do over 100 miles a day so no real short trips except popping to tesco or what not but it gets a long hard motorway drive everyday.

I'll see what they say. Thank you

Rear air suspension failure is very common on the f11 for some reason, probably for the same reason it’s common on commercial trailers but not the trucks themselves, the trailers tend to use cheaper air bags that fail frequently whereas the truck manufacturers don’t (an air bag failure is far more dramatic on a tractor than on a trailer) I’ve never known an air bag fail on a tractor in my years on artics but have on average a good 3 trailer failures per year.

Looks like BMW need to have a word with their suppliers.

Hopefully an easily answered question - are E60s still a good buy at the right price?

Currently considering this:

Just noticed it's picking up tech specs from the 530i... Hmm.
£10k looks an awful lot for an E60, let alone this particular 525i (not exactly a halo model!), which also has a manual transmission. I am amazed that anyone would be wishing to pay 5 figures for an E60 now, let alone a manual middle of the road one.

Yes, it has to be a convertible despite anything I have said to move him away from it. Seems there a few on AT with a similar spec and price.

Well avoid the diesel and stick with petrol. Nothing sadder than a drop top diesel. Strongly recommend at least the reverse cam! These things are a mare to park.
I found whenever I saw a convertible the rear seat belts had rubbed heavily and caused scoring.
Check the brakes and tyres as they're expensive to replace.
