BMW and M Power Owners

Don't worry guys, insta to the rescue!

A blinkered view, usually held by non Porsche owners.

As my little one grows, so will my requirement for more space/practicality. My not-a-proper-Porsche Cayman will need to grow rear seats and become either a Panamera or a Macan. Ive looked at the GTS and Turbo versions of both and I think the GTS are the sweet spot, the Turbo is just more power. When it comes time I’ll need to try the M5 comp too, though it seems to shed value at an alarming rate compared to the Porsches.

This is also part of the reason I haven't started my search for a M340i Touring. The Macan will hold its value better, so despite the cash price being higher, it may cost less to own in the long run.

Getting a test drive in a Macan is proving to be much more difficult than I thought it would be though. I'm onto dealership #3 so hopefully they throw me a bone.

At the risk of going off topic, the irony is when I had my 996 turbo I took it for a service and had a 981 boxster for a couple of days (not s but was pdk). I'd say it drive pretty much identical to mine, and I'd say there's very little in how they drive (despite what purists say). Ultimately if there was no boxster/Cayman/panamera/macan/cayenne, there would be any Porsches as unless you charge Ferrari or Lamborghini prices it's unsustainable (and now there is a lambo suv). I don't know what an MY would drive like, but I'd imagine not as driver focussed as a panamera.

Someone's gotta buy the madeleine new so we can buy them second hand for our wives once the X5s are no longer needed :D

I can't get enough of the four wheel steering in my f11, the car drives so gracefully through the fast lanes and in sport+ you have that perfect looseness, add this absurdly torquey remap and, well my smile says it all :)
