That thread was confusing as hell. It was a necro from his last car buying threadI thought you'd bought a focus or something?
But then I thought he was refused finance? Maybe I dreamt some of this. That thread was confusing as hell. It was a necro from his last car buying thread
I have a Focus. I was going to get a Lease 128ti but was denied finance. So I’m now looking at that 428i, keep up at the back!I thought you'd bought a focus or something?
They look awful IMO, like something from Ssang Yyong. If I wanted something with more space I’d get a Touring.or, @2015 get a 3 gt 2.5K cheaper

Guessing you'll buy this one in cash, then?I have a Focus. I was going to get a Lease 128ti but was denied finance. So I’m now looking at that 428i, keep up at the back!
It’s a manual too. You won’t like it.They look very similar to a 4GC, which is hardly surprising as it's basically exactly the same car with slightly different dimensions.
The 4GC obviously looks a bit nicer but if you think that looks like a Ssangyong there isn't much point buying a 4GC as it hardly looks radically different does it.
Absolutely.Guessing you'll buy this one in cash, then?
Don't listen to Fox about external aesthetics. I'm convinced he can only see in blotches of shapes rather than the refined observations us gentlemen make. It’s a manual too. You won’t like it.

TBF though the 3GT looks a lot like the 4GC
They are. Not sure why as if you described them to someone they'd appear to be almost the same but the GT's always look a bit ungainly. The 6 GT is the same although i don't think I've ever seen one on the roads. The 5 GT looks a little better it's true but not by much.3GT is quite different from 4GC in my view, the GTs are always quite awkward looking...
I definitely prefer the GC too but I have to agree with Fox, they're similar enough it's a bit odd to decry one as looking like a Ssangyong whilst actively purchasing the other
One is crossover segment and the other is Coupe segment. The GT is not a pretty car. It also nails the "it is bigger in every dimension except where it is useful" - much like every other crossoverI definitely prefer the GC too but I have to agree with Fox, they're similar enough it's a bit odd to decry one as looking like a Ssangyong whilst actively purchasing the other
As expected:It's like looking at two totally different cars. Can't believe I ever thought otherwise
