I have a Focus. I was going to get a Lease 128ti but was denied finance. So I’m now looking at that 428i, keep up at the back!
They look awful IMO, like something from Ssang Yyong. If I wanted something with more space I’d get a Touring.

They look very similar to a 4GC, which is hardly surprising as it's basically exactly the same car with slightly different dimensions.
The 4GC obviously looks a bit nicer but if you think that looks like a Ssangyong there isn't much point buying a 4GC as it hardly looks radically different does it.

3GT is quite different from 4GC in my view, the GTs are always quite awkward looking...
They are. Not sure why as if you described them to someone they'd appear to be almost the same but the GT's always look a bit ungainly. The 6 GT is the same although i don't think I've ever seen one on the roads. The 5 GT looks a little better it's true but not by much.

I know you're trying to be sarcastic, but your image to me shows the difference still
the rear quarter just looks utterly wrong on the GT, and it's even worse from the back. The GC looks like it was a considered design, the GT looks like they forgot to finish it.

I definitely prefer the GC too but I have to agree with Fox, they're similar enough it's a bit odd to decry one as looking like a Ssangyong whilst actively purchasing the other
i guess there's always a threshold of what you'd be happy to own, and I wouldn't be happy with the GT but do have a GC
I see the GT as being a (much) worse-looking hatch version of the 3 series saloon that almost looks like a motability special edition in terms of the awkwardness at the back, but I personally feel the GC looks notably nicer than the saloon, with a more premium and sportier look, whilst being more practical too.I didn't actively choose the GC it was circumstance that I ended up getting one in that I bought it from my dad, but had it been a GT he had instead, I would NOT have bought it!
One is crossover segment and the other is Coupe segment. The GT is not a pretty car. GT does have design cues from the Ssanyong Actyon /runs for cover.
Argh why is the BMW new car finder so rubbish.
If i put a radius of 500 miles I get a max of about 115 miles. So I have to move my location all around the country to get a half decent stock check.
Do BMW dealers have a better system for checking stock.
