Sold to wbac for £25,100 after fees. Motorpoint paid £26,200 at auction.
27-28k is about right for it in current market from BMW
So actually not too bad then. I guess Motorpoint make their money on volume not massive markups.

OR had been on a 2 year lease and covid hit. My gf mercedes only did 5 miles last year between March 2020 and March 2021.

Please don't buy a 420i for 26 grand.
Have to agree with this. I love my 428i GC to bits but it wasn't £26k either. As a minimum I'd be looking at 430i or preferably a 435i if it must be a 4 series.

435i is pre-lci, so should NOT be that kinda money either. 440i, yes (and i just spent £26k on a 2018 440i), but I'm aware that someone else getting that deal is basically slim to none.
Could be a couple of years though before the market softens the rate the semiconductor shortage is going!I’m having to really restrain myself from buying a £35k M4 that will be £27k when ever prices drop…
BMW Ireland have apparently just told customers waiting on cars being built their build dates have slipped into 2022. And chances are BMW UK will do the same. The shortage will be here until the middle of next year at least I'd say, another 9 months.

My 2017 440i convertible was £24,000 a year ago, current WBAC value is £26,500.
I’m patiently waiting out the prices starting to drop and then I’ll likely shift it on in preparation for buying an i8.
