BMW and M Power Owners

The second car has broken the 100k barrier, so that'll account for at least £1k off it compared to a similar one without 6 figure mileage. It's a mind thing really.

Could you honestly spend £11k on a 6 year old car with over 100k miles!? This is why I very quickly stopped looking at e91's ( 330 not 335 mind you). It just feels like far too much money for the car for me.

The price of the early cars are holding well for the moment IMO because the other 6 cylinder cars are doing the same driving the too of the line model values. Sort of suspect these are due to come down significantly soon, which may or may not have a knock on to the 335 - as a model it almost seems to sit alone in depreciation though a bit like the M cars

Well that in itself is a bit daft tbh, you'll just sacrifice age for lower miles if you try and strictly stick to under 50k. Age is more important imo, though when spending this kind of money I'd aim to keep under 100k with an eye on trading in/ resale

Option c

Car at 6 or 7 years old with 65-80k. I'd keep it a year, add another 15k miles or so then move it on

Problem is, everyone else will be wanting the same sort of thing and it's an already small pool of cars to chose from

Hmmm, if I can find a decent 335i M for a good price, would prefer 08/09 year, so pushing on for 6 years.

I also can't decide on colour!

I suspect most will be anyway, but does it need to be an M sport? You're only really gaining firmer suspension and some bumpers/skirts

Assuming he's looking at the E92 the M sport has only different bumpers and skirts, chunkier steering wheel, different wheels and anthacite coloured headlining. Oh and more M badges than you can shake a stick at.

The SE comes with the good M Sport bits as standard, that being the sports seats and M sport suspension.

The M Sport premium is quite bizarre. It's annoying because M Sport cars do look good but in the case of the E92 you are often paying thousands of pounds for what is quite literally a steering wheel thats £250 on Ebay and different front and rear bumpers.

It's the same with F10's - an equivilent M Sport is often £4-5k more than an SE with Dynamic Pack (Which adds sport seats, black headlining, etc etc). £4-5k more for..two plastic bumpers and some alloys.
