BMW and M Power Owners

They don't look that bad, but will look better then they go back to standard. I cannot for the life of me think why anyone would want to upgrade fog lights....

For the scene look where they run around with fogs on. Have you checked whether they are bright blue? Definite giveaway.

I'll have a look later. They are definitely coming off. I'm not into the whole bimmer scene thing. I'd say I'm quite passionate about BMW, but not to that extent. Definitely more of a purist :p

I will admit though that after a few days, it's great to be back in an E46. It certainly gives me more of a buzz than my E92 M3 did but I'm hoping it won't wear off soon.

They sound like HID/style fog lights which are common scene mods for those that code their cars to have the foglights on as DRLs.

Bin and put OEM ones back!

Same, scene mods are terrible I wouldn't say it's anything to do with passion. Like mrk's post above that's what it sounds like so would check and remove lol.

If the fogs are inoffensive when off and not coded to be on all the time I'd just leave them tbh - definitely sort the headlights tho.

I find myself wanting a BMW again, but not an e46, not an early e9x and not an e6x - however need a tourer and cannot realistically justify the cost of anything else. Sad times!

What about a nice Facelift E91?

Too much cash with an acceptable engine for the moment. Realistically couldn't spend that much more than the fn2 is worth, so say £6k+ a few grand which isn't getting anywhere near a decent lci example and is for me too much to spend for a pre facelift car.

Will probably just need to keep it till next year and review the situation then!

The "big rimz" comment is what frustrates me about your responses Mr Fox :(

Particularly as they are not aftermarket and come as part of the M Sport Plus pack anyway. I like them as a wheel design, look very nice in the metal...but I am biased ;)

Why not an E46 Touring? I've really grown to love my 330d Sport Touring. It was only bought for commuting purposes but I genuinely enjoy driving it to work now and it still looks better than the E91 (IMO).

Dunno if I can be bothered with the hassle of one with a little one on the way, hence a reasonably tight budget ( I can't leave things alone that aren't quite right mechanically and they're getting on). A very late 330i touring does still kind of appeal, but a legacy spec B appeals more for similar money.

Then again you'd be talking 2/3's of what the civic is worth for a car 4 years older

Basically I should leave well alone and stick with what I've got.....

Adding to the list of problems with my car. The last few times I have been out in it I have noticed the left rear wheel sometimes makes a slight grinding noise. Seems to be in time with the wheel turning and not all the time. Anyone any idea what this could be?

Love the way everyone pounces on people with no xenons, really what does it matter? sure there nice but its not as though you cant see the road without them.... all they are is a bling factor more than anything, and bloody irritating in your rear view mirror most of the time (and yes I've had several cars with xenons myself)

Xenons are much better, I wouldn't be buying a car without them now I've had them. They produce better light and aesthetically they look better too. Plus it's newer technology, why buy an expensive car with old-style bulbs?

My 2007 Mazda3 has HIDs as standard yet people still buy new cars without them, it's silly.

It wouldn't have been due just 14k after the previous service though, so there is no reason for them to have performed it prior to sale.

When it's a matter of 3 months or so before it needs a service *most* people will ask for this to be done, if the dealer doesn't just do it themselves to sweeten the deal.

I am not a fan of E46 angel eyes, however they do look a lot better than most of the rubbish you see on E46's.

Ew. They just scream chavvy junk, which is probably why one of the previous owners added them to compliment the other tasteless tat which they had also stuck on!

Please tell me you're joking about the bottom end!! I couldn't find anything about the car on the forums.
