BMW and M Power Owners

Had a quote sent from a BMW dealer for a 320d msport I spec'd up on broadspeed which totaled to 31k cash price. £492 pm for 35 months at 10k miles p/a on the BMW Select? Not sure how as C Class on pcp is at £322p/m on more or less the same terms.

Then a guy from G2L came back with a lease offer for a 420d msport at £282 pm but I have to make a decision by tomorrow.... erm nope, really dislike when they try and pressure you into a decision.

What was the deposit and mileage on the 420d msport?

Chemist, I'm confused how you went from your 15k budget to...well...whatever it is now!

The magic of a PCP, getting people to massively increase budget without realising it :p

8k miles p/a, 9+23 month platform £282 p/m with deposit being £2538. £9306 without factoring insurance and fuel and I need to get the proposal in today.

Almost 10 grand to drive a 420d for 2 years just isn't worth it. Think really hard about this.

Must be some spec on that 320d is there not? I am only about £50 per month more for my 530d Touring with a ~£42k cash price (albeit over 48 months).

Agreed, not going to buy into the guys tactics. He's pushing the BMW hard when I said I'll look at other options. I'm going to try and test drive the new A4 and see how I feel about it.

Options added were:
Media Pro
Msport Plus
Advance Parking?
Heated seats
Folding Mirrors
Front arm rest

IIRC. Another dealer (BMW Wolverhampton) said they'll get back to me tomorrow with some numbers.

That'll be why it's so much - all those options.

Why do you want a massive spec 320? I don't get it.

Buy a used 330d and be a happier person and spend less money.

A quick 20 second search brings this up as a first find:

http://usedcars.bmw.co.uk/3-Series/...90760-605481935-3497157.aspx?srcmdc=se_na_re_

£28k, great spec, virtualyl new, proper engine, very, very quick.

Leave the 320d's to the company car drivers. If you must blow a staggering amount of money on a 3 Series make it a 3 Series worth driving.

Could cry today, caught my 320d on a supermarket guard rail with 2 weeks left of ownership before my 420d arrives. Might as well bend over now

Hmmm I'll look into the 330...maybe I need to relook how am speccing car, I didn't think that was a lot of options. Pro nav, heated seats, folding mirrors and leave it at that for options then?

I've been a bit short on time this week so far since getting my car, it's on 85k at the moment and seems spot on, however I know the potential for big bills could rear it's ugly head.

What warranty options are available at this milage, what would they cover and are worth while investing in? Or do they have big excess' to wipe out value? Will it all be on BMW's site if I get chance to study tomorrow? Ta :)

Thought I'd experience a V8 before they all but went extinct, it's fairly decent so far, nice step up from a 2.2ltr diesel...

Oh yes that will be done! I bought this over the rather juicy sounding C63, and parts of me are missing that proper V8 sound even low down..
