Borderlands 2 release date confirmed ( Launch trailer also )

If your in the EU and plan on VPNing it i wouldn't risk it, steam eula changed recently mentioning bad things could happen if you do.

I'm a UK resident on business in the US, using a US VPN to encrypt my public WiFi traffic. What are you going to do?

Strange how your account was connected in the uk a few moment ago.

Besides, the EULA says you may not use a VPN at all.

You got the travel documents to prove that? Honestly, however likely or unlikely it is that Steam would actually do something about VPN'ing, you can't truly believe saying "uh, well I was on a business trip" is going to work?

Steam dont want people using vpn's to buy stuff at potentially cheaper foreign rates - doubt they care about activations.

To be honest i have always thought that was the case regarding using a VPN to access steam to purchase things not to activate a few days earlier, needless to say im not sure i will now, i have done it lots of times in the past with no ill effects to my account, but again never to buy anything just activate the game.

Steam most likely don't care but the retarded publishers who set these bloody stupid time restrictions probably do and most likely have insisted that Valve try to counteract all the people accessing their game early through VPNs (or else!).

I'm willing to take a wait and see approach instead of risking my account. Fair play if nothing happens, you can come on here and laugh at all the suckers who played by the rules and didn't get to enjoy their game on release. If, however, you do lose you're account...

So in terms of what you get in game with the version that comes with the loot chest edition and steam version.... What's the difference? I want to unlock tomo!

I am actually living in the US :) Get to play in 15hrs! Cant wait.

Ok on a side note, do you guys know if you can play US & EU games together, I cant honestly see this been a problem just wondering.

So, Just throwing it out there if anyone wants to do some CO-OP?

Theres no difference in the game content as far as im aware, its just a stupid staggered release, no doubt so they can test the servers and tweak before the rest of the world gets on.

Oh actually it's starting to look rather good, I was a fan of the original but only ever played it on my own - I think I missed out!
