The ones yesterday were complaining about how they had almost completed there comic book collection as they died
I think the best touch in the game is the Buzzards when they fly over you and you can hear them singing Ride of the ValkyriesWhen I was in the Tundra Express a couple of days ago on Gunzerker I just had to go to youtube, put it on, then trigger the alarm and start clearing the place out. Was awesome.
Borderlands always was an amusing game....Tiny Tina is funny too, in a sick kind of way; as is Scooter's huge sister, when she sais that her brother fancies her
but the funniest is the Goliath, i saw one of them jump into the air and pull a Buzzard out of the sky, it was totally awesome, but the trouble is when he's the only one left and you have to kill him yourself.... especially if he's 3 levels higher !!!!!
if i see loads of bandits especially the guys with the shields, i always wait and see if a Goliath is close by, shoot off his helmet and just laugh my head off from behind cover.

Halfwit or troll?
Good to know, I was worried that phaselock might be less fun than phasewalk.So, I used my gold key on my first char, which I dumped at level 10. Now I have a level 12 Siren and no gold key
Anyway, LOVING the Siren, Phaselock is just too much fun, boss fights are just sooooo easy! Blow up all barrels, flame, corrosive and ****. Phase lock, sucks all the liquid into the orb coating the boss in it, run up close and a shotgun blast to the face. Job done.
I am LOVING it!
Might pick this game up now.
How much better is it than BL1? Apart from the humour/comedy, the story there was ****. Is this one a little more coherent?Normally, I don't mind, but the story is very well told specially for a RPG and I am constantly stopping purely to listen to radio comms, regardless of story or not as it's all so well told.

Starts off as a Badass variation of the standard Goliath, and then into a Raging Badass Goliath, and then:

How do you make the goliath turn into that?
You need to shoot it's helmet off and let it kill other enemies.
Goliath > (shoot helmet off) > Raging Goliath > (1 kill) > Badass Raging Goliath > (2 kills) > Super Badass Raging Goliath > (3 kills) > Fatal GOD-Liath (after 7 total kills)
or
Badass Goliath > (shoot helmet off) > Badass Raging Goliath > (1 kill) > Ultimate Badass Towering Goliath > (2 kills) Hulking Mass of Destruction > (3 kills) > GOD-Liath (after 7 total kills).
I have no idea why the standards final transformation has a more threatening name than the Badass variants, but the standard certainly is not stronger.

Can anyone tell me why this sniper hits for 38k critical damage on a headshot, and this one hits for 31k? is it the +30% Damage? although I thought this was already taken into account on the weapons damage number.
The 30% is on top of the weapon damage.
They probably mixed the names up RE: Goliath transformation.
5555 Badass Rank atm with associated bonus' (and a bitching Gunzerker). It seems to want to even them out a little as I tend to get Max Health, Shield Capacity/Delay/Recharge and 1 other, lately mostly Elemental Effect Damage.
