Brazilian Grand Prix 2012, São Paulo - Race 20/20

personally i'm indifferent although i dare say i'd be quite happy if alonso got it in the end. the way things ended for me felt like a hollow victory anyway, vettel cutitng right across two cars, causing senna to go out and then not being punished whilst hulk was punished for something that seemed like a genuine mistake rather than foolish driving which vettels incident appeared to be. and his great comeback drive, which isnt really great at all when you consider everyone moved over for him, i bet alonso would have loved just one person to move over for him in 2010... anyway probably better that it comes to nothing but i'll not be upset if things are changed!. I really dont feel the championship went to the best driver, but thats nothing new.

Adam Cooper made an interesting point...

Even if it does nothing now, the comment to the BBC and the furore that has erupted will already have cast a shadow over Vettel’s win, which is a little unfortunate. But that may have been the intention anyway…

If Ferrari did just want to stir up some unrest all they had to do was hint at this and then let the F1 fan base run with it on their own... which is exactly whats happpened.

Ferrari made no comment to the BBC (the BBC quoted Associated Press which means no real source just made up), just the usual Brit press wanting hits and sheep fall for it :D

All we would get is a load more Ferrari International Assistance. I'd rather the situation we now have were almost everyone thinks Vettel has won a title he's not entitled too.

To be fair though they thought that before all this ;)

More so than the wrong person being WDC?! (If Vettel did pass under yellows..!)

No of course not... It'll be a shame either way is the result ends up being tarnished.

It's unfortunate that if Vettel did pass under yellows it wasn't picked up at the time, I guess we just have to wait and see what happens.

Its just more fuel for people who were already stoking a pretty big fire.

Andrew Benson in tabloid journalism non-shocker.

Glad FIA have ruled decisively, and shame Ferrari have forgotten their comments in 2007 (if indeed they did complain).

It's an interesting one, not a good way to end the season but I can understand is Alonso and Ferrari want this investigated.
