no it's definitely PC, but this game online will be full of Hackers with gaming bot cheats... young kids cheating the **** out of you....just wait and see!!!

but for gamers that dont cheat ( thank god) , it's not about skill at all, it's about lightning fast reflexes only...i see no skillfull gunplay or even good weapons, just lightning fast spray and prey

but the big problem with this game online will be..................CHEATING B****RDS, it'll be plagued with cheats, they'll totally ruin it within a month

i'm too old for a game like this, young kids will slaughter me, especially the ones that cheat

Concerning head shots, I seem to remember watching a video where they said headshots do increased damage but they will never be a 1 hit kill if they are on full health.

A good thing in my book. 3 or 4 headshots with an automatic rifle is about right.

Weapons can be upgraded with sights/scopes extra clips etc however this also has a reverse effect for example lowering the amount of bullets the clips hold. There was a video about showing character creation and weapon customisation which seems to have been removed from the tube now.

Lol. Why do you think it will be full of cheats? Brink will have vac and dedicated servers - can't see why you think it will be full of cheats? e.g I used to play tf2 all the time and hardly ever saw any cheats - why do you think brink will be different? :confused:

well because i used to play all of FEAR COMBAT/ MP/COOP all the time....full of cheats, but you might be ok, i'm just warning members here that this game isn't as hot as some of you think.

BRINK looks cheap and nasty, dont be disapointed, it looks too fast paced/ repetative, it definitely doesn't tick my boxes, i'm after Rage/ Fear 3

You seem to have eaten too much sugar.

I played FEAR:Combat tons and it wasn't *that* full of cheats. It did start to get a bit worse around the time I stopped playing though.

That's because it was free. Free MP games always full of cheats.

A shooter can't be too fast-paced in this day and age. Fast paced shooters are few and far between and a nice change from what we've been getting.

Also you're slagging brink but hailing Fear 3, when Fear 2 MP was one of the biggest piles of turd I've ever played, both SP and MP.

FEAR 2 MP was total crap as was the SP, yea that's true, but we dont know what FEAR 3 will be like yet! I'm talking about FEAR MP/FEAR COMBAT 7 (the first game)

My guess is that FEAR 3 will be crap too, ( looks too similar ) but as a fan; i have no choice !!!!!!!!!

but i still say, that BRINK looks too much like FEAR MP to me, only a game that you can play really well, if you're not tired out after work etc, it's too fast paced to be lazy and enjoyable like Borderlands etc

i never game online anymore, i'm not fast enough nowadays, i'm too tactical...i havent gamed online for 3 years!

BRINK looks poor to me.... but Duke Nukem forever/Rage looks good

only a game that you can play really well, if you're not tired out after work etc, it's too fast paced to be lazy and enjoyable like Borderlands etc

But that is what appeals to most of us

We want a fast paced game where you have to be constantly aware and have fast reactions

what makes a great FPS is very complicated, it needs a new thread, it'll be games like FAR CRY, BORDERLANDS, the first FEAR, Bioshock/ stalker

now BRINK is nothing like the quality/ depth/ atmosphere of these games, you can sense this instantly from the vids, what is it ?..... it's an MP shooter on steriods :cool:

I just checked my pre-order on the Hut to see what DLC I was getting, but I actually misread it when I ordered and there is no DLC, just some stupid bandana mask :mad:
