British Grand Prix 2010, Silverstone Circuit - Race 10/19

To be brutally honest, it looks like he's only got as far as he has on the back of his name - Ayrton he certain't isn't.

When he tested for Honda in '08 he got within 0.3sec of the established drivers in the team....Honda pulling out and Rubens being signed for that one year deal with the remains that became BrawnGP scuppered his chances of getting into F1 in a car that would prove to be up at the pointy end. It would have been interesting to see how he responded to being parachuted into one of the best cars on the grid, given how a certain young British driver had that very same start to his career....and look what he managed to do with it!

I'm not quite understanding the hatred towards Vettel. The guy has done nothing wrong.

Since when was making a right-hand turn into your team-mate on a straight and then blaming said team-mate for the resulting crash 'doing nothing wrong'?

Mind, given that this is you I'm responding to I shouldn't be overly surprised....

All this about Vettel and the move across...
Lets not forget that Webber has been slapped a few times for exactly the same thing. Forcing drivers onto the grass at 150+mph. ;)

He's also been incapable of closely following people safely this year too. :D

well I don't know about anyone else, but I'm rather enjoying the fact that both Red Bull drivers are having difficulty overtaking cleanly!

To be fair he was following a green boat :p

Ok, enough with the hot weather! Where's the traditional british summer? Bring on the rain damnit!

It's absolutely chucking it down here!

And notice there is no hatred being directed towards him. Wasn't it the last GP where he took out Heikki? He has compromised other the races of other drivers this season, yet there is no vitriol being directed towards him.

Double standards, I think.

One is a kraut and the other one is a criminal... Brits have more against jerry. ;)

Hehehe. Me too. If RedBull had top drivers, the championship would've been a 1 or 2 horse race by now.

But thats the beauty of the sport, the best car doesnt always win and neither does the best driver - its more combination of the 2.

You might want to re read the old thread.
