Interesting to see people with under 39mbit getting a speed upgrade. I was under the impression anyone who didnt already get 39mbit wouldnt get a speed upgrade as the speed they currently had was limited by the distance from the cabinet. Is this not true?

The BT checker says I'll get 22mbit - I was assuming that this is all I'll ever get and no speed upgrade would benefit me?

It is true. 33/8 is probably a predicted speed. It isn't worth upgrading unless one is syncing at 40/10 on 17a.

I can get 55mb down and 18 up so the B.T Wholesale checker tells me when i go with Fibre ,so an upgrade would be worth it ?

I've gone for the upgrade, when I originally went for infinity a couple of months ago the bt site said that I would get 32mb but when the engineer came he said that I was getting the full 40mb to the master socket. When I use speedtest.net I generally get 37.5mb. I've been given a speed of 62mb for the upgrade so I'm hoping to actually see more.

Echoing Slyman2k4's question how long does it normally take to be upgraded, I phoned up this morning?

If you happen to come into more than a couple of invites and wouldn't mind sharing one with me it would be much much appreciated! :)

My upgrade has kicked in... predicted 58mb actual 72mb  can't complain! Was only a month into my infinity contract so upgrading was a no brainer!

Thanks!

I clicked the £25 link because the £50 one didn't work (word beginning with D?), after signing up it told me £50 :)
