Bah! The game looks great, it's a hard job porting something like this to PC and it looks like they did well. Ignore all the moaners, they're only confused cause there aren't many proper arcade racers on PC - this is simulation land I guess, something that's all about fast and violent crashes will take a bit of getting used to for most people.
For the record, I wasn't complaining that "it costs real money". £30 is a reasonable RRP and slightly on the cheap side even - I was just irked that it's the same as the RRP for the console versions, which means that EA are pocketing more out of each copy of the PC version sold than they do out of each copy of the console versions because they're not paying a license fee to the console manufacturer. They're blatantly trying to squeeze a few quid more out of us, and it annoys me, but it doesn't change the fact that the game is, on balance, worth the price.
