Career in the Forces? (IT Related)

So i got back from a brief but very informative with a RAF carrers chap a few days ago. I must say i am intrigued. Just one thing i just thought about reading the above posts and the job description (raf guy didnt go into to much detail but said that i would be fully trained/qualified in it) what exactly happens at Radio training (?). I mean is it something that is simple to comprehend or rather complicated?

Not saying that i am stupid :o just interested at the moment.
 
I know you're too busy crapping yourself and polishing your frog to be on the internet but I thought I'd wish you luck for the parade this afternoon.

Seeing as your course starts on the 16th I think you'll either get a week of leave then holding for 2 weeks or just be on holding for 3 weeks.

How you will learn to love toaster face and sharrat :/ and bit (basic it) oh how fun that lesson was. Oooh and dont forget about mavis beacon, she will be your best friend.

thanks zefan, went good apart from the coporal forgetting the timings.

start on monday now, getting some leave at easter. loving cosford so far though. 8.30 start tomorrow, still in shock!
 
I doubt you'll be starting your course on Monday, although I could be wrong!

I saw your course mates yesterday evening and asked if they knew a Begbie by the way, I'll undoubtedly see you around at some point.
 
yeah were not put getting put in the ict blocks then. some new pre course training. you know what its like well get told on monday. yeah should meet up for a pint if your staying any weekend.
 
Aye it seems they made a bit of a ballsup really.

Throughout the PRTC they rambled on saying "This shouldnt be a problem!, you have 6 weeks between now and your basic to make sure your prepared"

then the responses were "erm.. ive only got 4 days"... "ive only got 2 weeks"

At that point i think they realised that they buggered something up :)
 
Who got Ocuk blocked in MG's? :p Zefan? Begbie? lol

Went into Aylesbury today and got a laptop + 3G Dongle, our flight staff said we could use them now as long as they don't interupt our daily business.

Congrats on passing out Begbie, our flight did parade support for you and I was in the NCC meeting and greeting the parents.

Watching you pass out was amazing, was there a fly over? I must have missed it.

I started Regiment last Friday and go back on Monday. Bring it on. :D
