COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

Call of Duty: Black Ops double XP coming this Friday to all platforms

Treyarch previously announced a Double XP weekend to go along with with the launch of the First Strike map pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops on the Xbox 360. Now they have announced the exact start time and added a reminder that it is across all platforms.

The double experience festivities kick off at 1PM EST/ 10AM PST and will last all the way through Monday morning according to Treyarch Community Manager Josh Olin.
A dedicated First Strike playlist has also been added just in time after the community complained.

This marks the first Double XP event for Black Ops since it was launched last November. Should be a good time to finally jump up those last few ranks.

Have to admit I kinda like 24x7 domination on Nuke Town - managed 72 or 73 to 2 on one round on that last night lol (wasn't even camping, chained dogs and chopper gunner).

Nice, it's just a bit too hetic for me sometimes.

I only ever play Nuketown when I'm farming for perks, it has to be the worst multiplayer map I've ever seen.

Weren't mod tools rumored? I guess this isn't happening anymore if Treyarch are releasing DLC map packs for £8,000.

Im using the Roccat Kone+ mouse but im not sure how to get the side button to knife it picks up one of them in the game but not the one i want to use...anyone know how?

I send back the kone as i didn't like it, but IIRC isn't one of the buttoms that Extra thing? Check the button assignments in the software.

You can do it manually by downloading PBSetup.exe under the Support Tab from www.evenbalance.com. Just install, point it to your CoD4 installation and click update.

BTW, I also agree CoD4 is far superior to any of the later installments in the series. Still my favourite anyways.

Ah yeah thanks had a mess on with the software and swapped them round and that sorted it cheers

The more sad that its completely meaningless in an FPS where XP does mean something... (unless your one of the weird people suckered in by the whole prestige lark - and doesn't double XP kinda defeat the purpose of prestige?) you can max out non-prestige in a few hours of gameplay.
