I don't know but I just had a few games of MP and a bit of SP and it definitely felt smoother than it did last night.

Seems ok but its annoying they never fixed the prone spam. Just like bf2 as soon as you see people its a battle of who can spam prone first. Or if in close who can get the cheap kill with the 1 hit wonder weapon knife, whoever thought that was a good addition really needs a severe boot in the swingers.

Even with MW2 you didn't get that issue!

It does however sound like with a few patches and once the steam load calms down this game could be quite epic. Heard that the Zombie mode is awesome.

MW2 had massive issues with steam on the day of release, worse than users are experiencing today.

Well I've disabled crossfire and that has resolved the stuttering issue, hope there's a fix for this so I can run xfire

Runs at 40fps+ and sits at 60fps most the time so more than playable now.

Your eyes can only see 75fps. I have capped mine at 75, the same as my refresh rate, even though i was getting 90-100. No point putting extra stress on your hardware when you won't even notice a difference.

Found the fix, but it's ridiculous.

Uninstalled Steam and then used the disc to install Steam + game and update. It took 3 or 4 attempts due to high server load, but it's worked.

Pretty sad that they can't even get something as simple as installing a game right. I really hope this doesn't become a failure like MW2.

Am I missing something, or is there no way to form a party (like on consoles and MW2 PC) and join servers together, or even stay on the same side in the game? And is there no way for friends to join the server you're on without an invite? While I applaud dedicated servers, this system is a complete mess. Why can't you just join someone from the Steam Friends list, as in TF2 and most other Steamworks games?

Installed and played, no lag at all but it seems my PC is finally starting to show signs of aging. Can't play this on high @ 1440x900. Anything lower looks like poop.

It's binded to my main Steam account too, so I can't even sell it on to get the 360 version.

To be fair it doesnt look that impressive on high settings. Wish they'd build a new engine and bring this one out to the yard and put it out of its misery, where it should have been 2 years ago.

Personally im po'd that the same bs has yet again carried over to this. Fed up with prone spamming and the almighty insta kill super speed knife attack that renders cqc non existant.

I join my server but can only stay in for 10-20seconds before i get this error
'Server disconnected - Steam connect failure'

Why!?
Do i need ports forwarded? Or is there a different reason?

Try playing it on low/med, some of the textures are hilariously bad, enough to make me not want to play.

Absolute rubbish, get a 120hz monitor and run it at 120fps then come back to me
