Did they have small red dot like optics for the BAR in WW2 or is this some form of "creative licence" because people can't use iron sights anymore?

Looks okay though, think I'd rather have it for SP but knowing COD games it would only be 5 odd hours if the last few are anything to go by. Fair amount of wedge for a short campaign.

i put cod 1 on my pc few weeks ago and played it for first time in ages.was weird joining my old >Mugs< Clan server and playing brecourt and caretan.was just as brilliant.

Where did you buy it from? Still got my old serial code buy disc doesn't work.

Brecourt and caretan were awesome

luckily all my disks are fine i believe you can still buy a gold pack or a edition of amazon for like 5 quid that has cod 1 and united offense in one pack.its worth that.still now.people do play still but if you one of the oldskool pro nabs just be prepared for some salty admins online

Damnit, massively put off by the trailer now. Red dot sights on BAR, silencer on MP40, lots of the usual dolphin diving and jumping round corners and characters who can run and jump at a million miles per hour. Disappointed now

It certainly looked good though.

It certainly looked good though.

Red Dot (they were called Reflector sights back then) were pretty uncommon in WW2 on firearms, but they were around. Silencers on MP40's were a thing too.

Movement still looks odd to me, I'm more interested in the SP mind you, but I'll still probably pick it up.

DG, I was in Mugs clan way back during the COD UO days, man those were epic days. Small world, I used to play under JasTheAce tag, what about yourself?

Well that trailer put me off buying it pretty quickly. It looks so similar to Battlefield 1, which was ***** its unbelievable.
