What was the Hmm for?
Much rather have bought from you guys but needed sooner so I had to go with them!

@ Chapple - Specwise:
9800gts 600/1500/800 64 shaders
9800gt 500/1250/800 96 shaders
9800gtx 500/1250/800 112 shaders.

Performance wise it is very difficult to say at the moment. There are loads of benchmarks of the GT but virtually none on gts and gtx. The US have a gateway model that has the gts and it gives very good results (when it works, build quality is v.poor), about 1-2% less than the GT.

Well tbh, they're all fairly powerful/top-of-the-range mobile cards so I'm not too bothered in all honesty. Only games I'm really planning on playing are Red Alert 3 and Football Manager 2009 so it should be fine really. I don't plan to crank out Crysis on full settings or anything that is going to annihilate the card.

Any idea how upgradeable these machines will be in the future? I'll probably like to upgrade both the HD and RAM in my Ultima Mobile at some stage, is this going to be a pig of a job like it is with most laptops?

I've never been so excited to see the message that my order is in the queue! :D

Can someone from OcUKLand confirm or deny (either way im just interested to know) if these laptops will ship with driver a CD(s) to those of us who have specified No Operating System?

Similar UMPC to that medion, but without HD or RAM, so can add you own capacity. Or at least options, say 1/2GB, 80-320GB, no OS (discounted)

@ Chapple - There is a panel that removes on the bottom of the laptop that gives access to RAM, CPU, GPU, HD, Mini PCI cards. Therefore it is really easy to upgrade RAM or HD. CPU and GPU are also quite easy but sourcing another gfx card will be the difficult part unless OCUK can stock them (crosses fingers)

@ Fracture - Do you mean you have just placed an order or have you got a new message? Mine has been saying "in our warehouse shipping queue" since I pre-ordered. also I believe these come with a driver CD with both XP and Vista drivers. Worst case you can download the drivers off the clevo website.

Am I right in saying that a Nvidia GeForce 9300M GS 256MB is better than the Dell 8600 GT cards in the 1530 etc?

What about the ATI HD 3650?

@ninja2000 - I pre-ordered, finance was recently accepted. so my order staus is now the same as yours, in the warehouse shipping queue.

I want my new toy already! currently struggling along on a 4/5 year old dell inspiron 9300. (i forget when exactly i brought it)

Ahhh I see.

And yeah I am struggling on an eeepc as I sold my xps1530 to fund this a month ago, it makes it a painful wait!

God the 9300 is quite old, I bought a 9400 3 years ago :)

Not too sure what this means.. lol.

Order Status: Printed in our warehouse

Glad it's getting done though :)

Yeeehaaaa....Wasnt expecting that!
The guys at Overclockers must have been busy today!

Thanks very much Rupert, Adam and gang for getting them turned around so fast. its much appreciated.

Will post back tomorrow when it arrives :)

Hola Peeps :)

They turned up a bit later than we'd have liked due to traffic being a bit pants on the M6 but we stayed late to get all the people who required them as priority.

We've our lovely suppliers over from the far east in the morning and then we'll be posting up full details along with proper pictures tomorrow once we've all had a decent kip! :)

Driver discs are included for the people who have ordered no OS. You just need to enter the BIOS to select either Vista, XP or other.
