Hmm better get my questions (think most are covered) in before you have your meeting, Slackworth and RTB.

Mind checking the thread before you have your meeting?

I am very interested to see if there will be a netbook/sub-notebook equivalent (like the MSI Wind or HP Mininote 2133). Say 9"-10"...

My wish-list for such a beast would be:

Touchscreen tablet (1024x600/WSVGA min)
VIA Nano/Intel Atom
2Gb RAM
Small SSD (16Gb) with large HDD (80Gb+)
Webcam
Gigabit Lan + Wifi N + BT
5Hr battery life
Win XP Pro

I will bring my camera into the office tomorrow, get a few pics for the forums for people, prior to the laptops shipping.

In fact, I have just put my camera on charge, ready for it

Mine has just been delivered :D.

Slightly irked that it came without OS after phoning sales and changing my order but it's not too big an issue.

Looks good though, can't wait to get it all up and running later.

I am in the market for a gaming laptop.
I was wondering, are the prices and specs on the website samples or the real price as they seem expensive compared to other companies.
I know they include a 9800 gtx instead of a 8800 gtx but that cant make them more than £500 more expensive.
Is there something im missing?

Hi Gwyn, which one you looking at.
From what i have seen the Ultima Extreme Mobile starting @ ££1555.64 inc VAT looks competive with other 17" with a 8800m gtx or 9800m gtx.
 
Thats the system. If you add 4gb ram faster cpu, Vista and bigger hdd its over 2K

I can get a system with 9300 cpu @ 2.5, 4 gig ram, 250hdd 8800gtx
WUXGA LCD Widescreen (1920x1200) 3 year warranty, vista
For £1,450 and thats in the same chassis as OCUK.

Im not knocking OCUK I was just hoping they would be a bit more competative as that why I buy all of my hardware from them.
