yea but u see there is no point of using 4 gig in 32 bit os and so 3 gig would be the best option. and with wxga+ would enjoy more 720p i believe.
ps. dont need anything ultimate or extreme, as it will not be used for gaming. movies writing work, casual gaming
I dont think you see his point - 1440x900 is pretty much perfect for a 15.4" screen whereas 1680x1050 and 1920x1200 are more suited for a 17" screen. Running non-native is possible just not preferred...4GB in a 32bit OS isn't pointless, it depends on your task. Windows XP Pro and Home are both capable of using 4gb.
WXGA+ is at 1440x900 which is 16:10 aspect ratio.
WSXGA+ is at 1650x1050 which is 16:10 aspect ratio.
So a WSXGA+ screen can display the same resolution as a WXGA+ screen, but can also do even higher resolutions. Using a WSXGA+ is the best of both worlds.
Anyway this is still early days for OcUK so give them time. I'm sure they'll be considering customisable screens in the future.
Hi all. These laptops are looking absolutely fantastic, although we've started building these now I've had little time to take photos or compile any type of review. They're great to build, cleverly put together and look stunning.
I'll get some actual photos to view tomorrow evening (workload pending!) and let you all have a gander.
