This is what worries me, I deal with numerous IT suppliers in my job and it is so easy to say it's on it's way, you have been waiting over a month for a laptop that is available elsewhere. I might wait another day if nothing has changed will probably go elsewhere.

I ordered mine yesterday in the hope that they will be in stock soon (and to also get the 6% off ;)). The guy I spoke to was very helpful and went and spoke to the purchasing department. He said they'd be in during the next three days. However, I phoned up two weeks ago and they pretty much said the same thing, so who knows!

If it's takes four weeks since Adriaaaaan ordered his, then surely they can't be far off? :confused:
 
Made another call to OC yesterday afternoon and they say that the Ultima Mobile parts will arrive on Monday. I know they have said this before, but the chap I spoke to seemed pretty certain/confident. Either that or he is a cracking liar ;):D
 
Right so if I were to get the Primo Mobile 15.4 with 4GB of ram. Would it be recommended to get Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit as the O/S?

Totally up to you mate and what you want to use it for. It would certainly make use of all of the memory available, so in that sense it would seem worth it. It depends on your requirements software/peripheral/driver wise. I've been running Windows Vista Ultimate64 on my desktop since January for both gaming and work, and have not had any problems with drivers or anything else...

As far as i'm concerned they have two days to complete my order or i'm cancelling. I can't describe how inconvenient this has been! I hope you're right
 
I was going to order about a month ago, back then they said it'll take 2 weeks.....thats a long two weeks :(
But i'm glad I ordered with the 6% discount and I don't mind waiting that little bit longer after they receive the stock, i'd rather it have no problems than they rush the build process. Of course they've got to receive the stock first :rolleyes:
 
They told me the same thing last month NoodleKing.
Can anybody who has received their Ultima Mobile tell me if it arrived quickly, what condition it was in, etc.

Can someone confirm this for me: Did you receive your 6% discount upon ordering or did you get it rebated back afterwards? If so, did it take long?

I ordered mine last Tuesday and I've just checked my c/c and it seems that they have charged me full price i.e. without the 6% discount. I'm sure the guy I placed the order with said that it would be rebated afterwards...
 
Well if you ordered online Im sure it automatically reduced it accordingly at checkout after entering the code - I think youve been had mate and probably best to call up...

Thats shocking if it has happened though :rolleyes::(
