The 10 without the WiFi should hopefully have gotten the adapter and guide by now as they were shipped courrier next day. :)

Mine came about an hour ago. All installed and ready to go :)

The guide was great (except the wireless enable keys are Fn+F11 not Fn+F9 as mentioned ;) ) and the installation was a piece of wee wee.

Really pleased with the performance of this lappy, it's superb :D

Caught it after the first 10, strange enough the drivers will install and verify just fine without the hardware installed. The first City Link van after they were built had already taken away the first wave so was a bit late by then.
Surely then you would have known whom those 10 were even before they were delivered and had the time to contact them rather them wasting their time trying to work out what was wrong. Bit surprising that the system checks passed WIFI even though it wasnt physically installed...

The service is good after the fact when it was reported, but Im just surprised it wasnt OcUK who picked up and informed buyers of the issue rather than the other way round.

I was going to get one, but Ill wait until they arent over-subscribed which seems to be leading to QA issues. I wouldnt accept it in my line of work so I dont outside it...

P.S. More reviews and where that perfect laptop spec you promised me OcUK :p

I am very interested to see if there will be a netbook/sub-notebook equivalent (like the MSI Wind or HP Mininote 2133). Say 9"-10"...

My wish-list for such a beast would be:

Touchscreen tablet (1024x600/WSVGA min)
VIA Nano/Intel Atom
2Gb RAM
Small SSD (16Gb) with large HDD (80Gb+)
Webcam
Gigabit Lan + Wifi N + BT
5Hr battery life
Win XP Pro - well Vista Tablet now...
HSDPA SIM card

:yum: ;)

ps3ud0

All installed and ready to go :) I have to say i'm very impressed at the speed that OCUK managed to sort out the problem with the wireless. It was so simple to install and i'm such a noob when it comes to PC building things :p

A gift? what? lol I don't think I got one :( unless you're talking about the bubble wrap :D

Got my Ultima Mobile today. It is probably the most greatest thing I've ever used.

One tiny problem though, the screen has a Stuck Pixel =/ It's bright green, and is massively obvious when the screen goes black.

Unsurprisingly, my fellow flatmates did not answer the door and so missed the city-link delivery. I am the only person out of 3 that ever answers the buzzer, even when I ask the others to listen out for it. Lazy bums. I'll get it on Monday!

i thought OC supplied a drivers disc will all the drivers required?? be silly if you then have to go hunting for them!

They do, but usually those sort of things are miles out of date. I was hoping to d/l the latest drivers.

Try Laptop2Go they tend to do all the Nvidia custom inf releases for laptops of official drivers.

Thanks, I'll give them a go.

I understand, however OC should be updating there disc to reflect updates. no point have burned 1000's of disc when in 1 month time all the drivers are out of date.

What I would be very interested to know if OC have played with a machine and installed all the drivers against each of the OS to confirm that all is working ok?

Hi, I'm having trouble enabling the Bluetooth on my Ultima Mobile.

Tried the BIOS, nothing in there of use.
Tried Fn+F10, nothing
Fn + F11 just turns off the Intel Wireless.

It does make the 'Device Unplugged' sound in Vista when I press Fn + F10, however, nothing comes up.

Anybody know how to solve this?

edit: It was Fn + F12  sorry xD
