** CORSAIR LIQUID COOLING SOLUTIONS - CRAZIEST DEAL OF 2013 **

Just ordered this but im wondering will i need to replace the stock fans on this or does it even come with any?

How will my aerocool shark leds fans do or should i invest in some proper radiator fans such as the corsair ones

Also do i need to take some pre-cautions incase of leaks etc and how so

Not too bothered with noise tbh, that said i don't want them to sound like a jet either, just looking for good cooling performance for a reasonable price, i used headphones mainly whilst gaming.

I already have a pair of sharks but i cant seem to control them via the motherboard cpu header for some reason (they are 3 pin) so would like something i can put a custom fan profile on.

Never used a h100 model cooler before and someone above mentioned you can connect the fans to the pump, did i misread or how does that work?

The pump controls fan speed depending on the temps of the CPU i think. Those corsair ones linked above my previous post are loud enough at full tilt. Cools my 2500K at 4.5Ghz at high 60's during prime. Mine seems to require quite a bit of voltage too. I think you may need 4 pin fans for the pump to control.

3 pin.

As I've said previously, the included fans are fine if you run them in quiet mode. There's review aplenty to show that swapping the fans doesn't improve cooling performance.

Recieved my H100 Today, It was well packaged and in good condition albeit a few bent pins which i corrected with a small screw driver.

MY next question is should i put kitchen paper on my gfx card incase of a leak?

I ran both H80's I bought outside the case for half an hour (attached to a molex inside the PC) and when they didn't leak in that time I figured that'll do and there's no reason they'll leak when they're in my mate's PCs. :)

I got my h100 a while ago, ran it for 2 days externally in case of leaks - so far so good

i will install into case tomorrow with 2 gentle typhoons :)

Fill the hole with epoxy and make new threads.

Seems the best idea.. i thought about just going next size up screw as these are 6/32 x 1.25 i believe which is 4.7mm so i guess a 5 or a 5.5mm would do the trick also.

Not needed right now but might be needed for my next build depending which side of the radiator i use

I could even use nylon tape perhaps

H100 arrived, went from 52ºC under load on air to 132ºC at idle :0

Wiped off supplied TIM and applied MX-2 and dropped idle temps to 78ºC

RMA'd and a new one will be here tomorrow, hopefully we'll have slightly more luck!

132.. Cant be right that. Your motherboard should have a failsafe kill if its that high temps

Installed it, no leaks so far been 2 hours.

stock temps arent much of an improvement over my h60 with it been around 30 degrees idle with stock fans, going to test at full load later today
