Common complaint. Mine was soaking wet too on arrival, and has since been replaced under rma.
On the bright side, DPD seem to be great at finding weak refurb's, thus preventing damage to expensive PC's.
Only downsides I can see are
a) delay in getting the replacemnt, not an issue for me but may be for some,
and
b) cost of returning faulty item make it just a bargain instead of a great bargain.

Yeah not sure if the post office fella told me right but cost me £11 to return recorded. Checking tracking I think he charged me for special delivery. Not impressed OcUK don't refund return postage, its not my fault they sent me a water feature instead.

Ocuk do refund postage if it was faulty. By doing so you need to scan and provide the receipt for the postage.

It throttled right back to 0.6v or something with 800MHz. didn't last long before shutting down.
The pump/heatsink was too hot to touch!
New one should be here shortly anyway

Our engineering department use helicoils to repair damaged / stripped threads.
You'll need to google it though, i have no personal experience of using them
I work in 'an engineering department' and as far as I'm aware, Helicoils would be unfeasible in this situation.
You should get a postage refund.
OMG it's so easy. LOL, ROFLCOPTER :

without a doubt - that's a completely faulty unit.
There's a difference between cheap products, and malfunctioning products.
Corsair should be ashamed to call that "refurbished"
i need some new fans guys, the stock ones sound like been in a jet i can hear them through my headphones

or should i just use my aerocool shark blue led fans and save myself £20? will i see a difference between the sharks and those above, say if its a 10+ degrees diff then itll be worth it

Running at 28ºC idle and 45 under load on the quietest setting. And all of the fluid is INSIDE the pump
