** CORSAIR LIQUID COOLING SOLUTIONS - CRAZIEST DEAL OF 2013 **

Hi,

Does this leak warranty also apply to non-refurbs with warranties up to 3 and 5 years?

I have been worrying about this for a long time, I know leaks are a very low low chance... but if it happens, it sucks. A lot.

Yes, the length of the warranty/damage coverage is based on the product's (cooler) warranty period. If you have 5 years, then you are covered through the duration.

Built someone else's new system the other day into a new case and realised how junk my Antec 900 is by today's standards! Ended up getting a 900D (With a view to a large custom loop in the future) and decided to throw in a refurb H100 unit.

Plan to use it in push/pull, even if the 900D will dwarf it...for now :D

problem with those - noisy pump. If you don't care about that, defo worth the money. Had to return h80 and h100
almighty15 also own 920, would be nice to see results. Can't be much better but still

Yes it is!! Would love to of seen 16 screws included in the box for fans in push+pull instead of just 8.

Have to try and find someone that sells them now :(

Do you not need only 8 for a push/pull config? Each fan needs 4 of the long screws that pass through the fan and screw into the radiator, so 8 should be enough for a fan on both sides, or am I missing something?

Yeah.. 4 screws per Fan, 4 fans = 16 screws :)

You can't screw in the fans with the short ones.

Of course, you could only use 4 screws per side, but then you'd have the rad hanging from the roof or somewhere with just 4 screws.. as the screws don't go through the rad, they only go in far just enough to touch it.

Those screws should be available from any local hardware store or any hobby store. The spec is;

Screw thread and length are 6 -32 x 1 1/4"
#6 machine thread, 32 TPI (threads per inch), 1.25 inches in length.

D'oh! Was picturing the H60/H80 when I posted earlier. Completely missed/ignored that you'd bought the H100. Your post now makes perfect sense, and I'll go back to hiding under my rock. :o
