Dark Souls 2 - Thread

I think I read that its prudent to equalise adaptability and endurance, as they scale together. ( pretty sure , cannot find source atm)

Partly, ADP only increases natural poise up to the same level as your endurance, it still increase Agility and everything else regardless.

ADP is an awesome stat, especially for PvP as it gives your roll more invincibility, easier parrying and faster healing item use.

Contrary to popular belief however it does NOT effect the roll animation, that is purely equip load.

Yep. Down for me as well. Very frustrating. I usually like to do a boss a couple of times after doing it myself

Talking again about adaptability. I have just done The Rotten, and this is a boss that I actually struggled with a bit on the PS3, but this time I did first time, solo and was perfectly confident to go in Dual-wielding thanks to ADP! It feels so much smoother. Tbh though, I might have struggled last time as I went down the hole a lot earlier in my first game(right after Lost Bastille) where as this time it was the last area I went to.

BTW, question about armour

I had a lot of items turn up at vendors last time I played it that I haven't noticed this time. For example, the cat started selling some leggings that decreased fall damage, and the armour guy sold I think it was Alva's armour. I haven't got them now though, is there a reason?

As you progress and spend more souls with them they'll sell more armour. They'll also give you fr33 st00fs if you spend a certain amount with them and talk to them.
