sucks to see "control" and animations being a low priority after they introduce a crapton of stuff.

whats the point of animals and hunting if the controls and animations are gonna be terribad like they are now, probably with animals warping through buildings etc

IMO bottom 4 on that list should be 2-5

Perhaps the list is a list of priorities but in no particular order? I do agree of course that the extra new features should be held back until what is already there is feeling a little smoother and more stable though
 
Not sure about the last 5 minute thing, but programs such as bandicam are low resource and good quality with low space. My video above was a stream using XSplit.

Best bet is hardware though, I'm ordering a Live Gamer HD tomorrow so I can record without losing some FPS on CPU intensive games.

I use fraps can record highest settings with next to no performance loss and i record all the time i play :D
 
Server hoppers "hop" cause there is no respawning loot. I am not saying that is a good thing to do but that is why they do it atm. They can't be bothered to head inland to get some, so before they add a timer maybe they need to work on that? 30 seconds timer will not fix combat loggers either, in DayZ 30 seconds hiding is nothing.

It does fix combat loggers because in my experience they log out as soon as you start shooting at them. One guy did it 3 times in an hour to me

No it wont, you will see someone a little bit away, they will just run to a building hide for 30 seconds while you make your way to them carefully as dayz is not run and gun and quit. It might fix a few but just a simple timer is a waste of time on its own. Once a bullet is fired they need to be marked as in combat and can't quit for 5 mins tops.

They also seem intent on these silly little updates wasting dev time on a timer that fixes nothing on its own when that dev time could have gone to fixing PBO until Rocket gets back mid Jan to fix combat loggers like he says he will.

No it won't except it will you mean. I have yet to come across someone who runs in a building to combat log. They all just log out as you are shooting them (I've had this happen maybe 30 - 40 times)
 
i would be banned neil if i put what i really think but just don't even dare say that mess is even on the same level. i can tolerate witcher saying it the nether fan but warz come on man that's scraping the barrel even for you .

none of what you mentioned are high priority and its been pointed out to you its not. to you its high priority that's true but to the game , no.

for those interested in the game try it be prepared for issues its a alpha but the rate they patching and fixing stuff most will be updated very shortly.

neil is a bit of a dramatic in every game he plays. just watch his posts ;).hes well known for being a bit of a queen of the forums.

You must be new to DayZ I guess, Rocket has already said he has a combat log fix for when he gets back mid Jan, this timer is not it.

Then why can they not do that simple fix? It is so stupid they are adding new stuff and not fixing that really big bug. The timer is only going to stop hoppers who only hop as loot does not respawn. You know yourself after all that DayZ playing a simple 30 second timer is not a combat log fix so it has to be aimed at server hoppers right? I take it alt f4 still works?
