Destiny 2... It's a coming!

Cheers.

So now the ultimate question. It’s £35, is it worth it?

What’s he max number of players you can have in a group?
I personally think it is, but then I'm biased as I've played a lot of Bungie games and like shoot-to-loot. If you liked the beta and the reviews are positive, I say go for it.

Maybe there will be workarounds for things like free-roam, but unfortunately the group size is 3 for most PvE and 4 for PvP (did used to be 6 - so hopefully that changes)

@Reppyboyo looks like a network error. Anything different with your set up? E.g. no uPnP on your router or you didn't allow the game through the firewall etc?

The main thing for me to adjust is the amount of console aim assist it provides - I thought it might just be people doing the general whine for the sake of it but it's ridiculous - tried a few matches in pvp with it, not amazing with all weapons, however with the right setup you can just murder anyone in seconds.

@Reppyboyo turn off windows firewall, fixed it for me

I wish the skills had a button indicator on them. Bit annoying having to guess which one it is or remember after seeing button mapping.

Is this with controller? I'm using mouse and there is no assist at all?

destiny 1 content wasnt rushed, the total opposite on release - it took ages to level, limited number of missions/strikes - one of the things that fill me with confidence is that they have openly discussed these issues/negative aspects from the first one and what they are doing/done to address them.

Ah i was reading that some of the content for D1 was held back for DLC purposes but hey cant always believe what we read eh.

An interesting article on what it takes to run D2 at 4k, the author tries different settings on a variety of GPUs in order to get 4k60. He manages it pretty well even on mid-range cards!

This is what you need to do to get 4k60;

Yes, just like the first game all PvE activities can be done in groups of 3, with the raid in a group of 6 :)

one fury x is holding just about 60fps at 100fov with all settings low so not to shabby. Looking forward to crossfire support though

Using a VPN worked, will try firewall next I try.

Got through the initial single player part anyway.
Im not seeing the appeal so far, seems like a bog standard shooter to me.
Nothing is explained so ive no idea whats going on.

Any ideas why I can't set 4k (3840x2160) in the options? Max res it's giving me is 2560x1600
I had this issue with my 1080p display. Max resolution was like 1760x868 or something weird like that. Had black borders round the full screen. Only managed to select 1920x1080 when I selected borderless window.

Anyone else feel the air movement is too slow after double jumping/jumping with an ability. The float seems terrible. Pretty much the only thing I dislike providing msaa is fixed.
