Custom - put all abilities bar super on my mouse & changed crouch to C.
The default mapping just confused my brain.

Destiny's raids are a brilliant experience though
You couldn't be anymore spot on. The sheer amount of hours I've sunk into raids even after obtaining the gear was ridiculous. Yes, they do require teamwork, strategies and coordination, but it's also a lot of fun at the same time. Remember trying to find that illustrious final chest in VoG? Or missing ledges in the jumping puzzles?
To be honest even just experiencing the encounters for the first time and working out what's actually going on is lots of fun.
By minimap you mean the radar? If so that's disabled when zooming by design. In D1 there were weapons (Mida) that would enable that feature, i imagine D2 will have those as well, just not in the beta.Any way to keep the minimap enabled when zooming? it's quite annoying.
Considering its prevalence in the first I doubt they will get rid of it. More of the same I expect.I hope we have less jumping puzzles or none at all. I just found platforming in first person to be a bit hit or miss
1 - No there is competitive multiplayer also, it's called the crucible.I don't know anything about this game, hope you don't mind answering a few questions:
1 - Is it multiplayer coop only?
2 - Do you grind?
3 - Are levels always the same or are they randomly generated?
4 - Good for solo, playing with pug's?
5 - How long do raids take?
6 - Is it a casual game - good for a quick blast?
Thanks!
1 - No there is competitive multiplayer also, it's called the crucible.
2 - Yes grinding is a part of Destiny, at least it was in D1.
3 - There aren't levels per se, more like public areas and missions. They are pretty much the same, they don't change much and if they do it's predictable. This may change for D2.
4 - Playing Destiny solo is possible though some activities become harder without a co-ordinated team.
5 - If you're unlucky enough to be a part of a crap fireteam you could be there for hours. With a skilled team that know what they are doing the Crota raid could be done inside 30 mins easy. King's Fall is longer and mechanically more complex, so over an hour. D2 will likely follow a similar pattern but who knows.
6 - It can be, though to get the most out of it you'll need to invest many many hours.
@Burr covered most of it, but:I don't know anything about this game, hope you don't mind answering a few questions:
