Good run all round, couldn't believe how quickly we got to Oryx
. Cheers to Corey and drunzer for tips on we're to stand on the platform really helped. Same about the drops best was 311 arms no primary

Good raid last night - thanks for the hand holding chaps - much appreciated and lots of patience from everyone on the jumpy bits
Apologies if I was a bit too direct at times, I just really wanted to play halo
GJ, glad the strat worked out. I wan't to try the other similar way but instead platforms kill their own knights and floaters kill the Ogres using blessing of light and 2 * ToM's. The Ogres get melted and the platforms have plenty of time to deal with knights.
e: I'm pretty sure these ways will become the norm once people get their LL up but the no knights is pretty good while people are under 310. It makes a big difference when the ads aren't red/orange bars anymore

Really enjoyed that thanks lads, sorry about the crappy jumping, wasted a lot of time on those bits, guess its just practise. looking forward to having a go at finishing it off.

It was, we had a few others where we was also very close but that one was the most painful since we had 6 up at the time, I died, then someone else died :X.
Glad you guys got through. Hopefully some good loot.

Put me down as a reserve for tonight. My warlock is 1 rating higher than the titan I was running on last night.
I think I was 306-308 for oryx fight and it's brutal. 1 hit from a boomer will leave you absolute.
We managed it but I don't think we would have without such a good fireteam. People leaving bubbles for others. Sharing strats and tips, etc.
I also had to infuse my highest drop into my crap sword to get it up to scratch. I got a 318 rocket launcher with tracking and put it into my 287 sword to hit 309 on it.
Ideally you don't want anyone below 310 for oryx, it's possible but not recommended.
2 tips:
relic runner jump to daughters after grabbing relic then jump to the knight if your on the opposite side.
self res warcloks - don't panic res, 9 times out of 10 you will just die again. wait until the danger has passed.

Yep was a good run. The timing is pretty tight so it just takes a few runs for everyone to know exactly when to switch targets, exactly what spot to move to etc.
On platform 2 I used harrowed quillim's terminus on the nearest ogre, then switch to sniper to melt the furthest one. Not having those few seconds reload time makes a big diff, once you can get the ogres down quickly that's half the job. Once our light is a bit higher there should be plenty of time for platform guys to melt the ogres and knights.
Blessings in the middle in between rounds helps cut out any mishaps from the adds.

The last run was sweaty palms time when we realized it was the last rotation and Oryx was going to go down
I can see how being a higher light level will really help on the Oryx fight, but everything else up to that point is easily doable. It just a pain you have to rely so heavy on the destiny RNG system to get you higher, three harrowed drops and the best is 311 light Nice
Got a full group now. Around 305 is fine up to Oryx but if you haven't done Oryx on your other 2 characters then you can swap to one of them if they are higher light.
Yeah PS4 dude, i'm on PSN as fringe_element. I've got my brother and two work mates so far, all are mid 290's but we've just not got round to the raid yet! I'll send you a message tonight or tomorrow (got family down at the moment

Yeah it's still on, got 5 confirmed. Just need to get confirmation or find a definite sixth. Hopefully should get that at some point today else I'll have to be disappointed and cancel til next week
Edit: Think Kinger is our mutual friend on PSN but he don't want to play, he works with my missus and lives round the corner from us.
