*** Destiny Raid & PvP discussion thread ***

Ah cool :)

On that note - is anyone on here available at 7 to help with a KF NM run on PS4?

We need one extra person (have 5). I believe I am acting as "Sherpa" as DavisDavid and the other runners have not run the raid before (please correct me if I am wrong). As such our 6th can either be a raid "newbie" or an experienced raider. :)

I have decided I will bring my Warlock tonight, Saturday isn't looking hopeful so raid my main character. The knight watcher method seems to be the better of the options, there is more to do but doesn't rely on luck to take down Oryx.
 
Lol makes me laugh that in here, most of the raids that are taking place are ps4 rather than Xbox one.

Embarrassing to say the least, one of the reasons why I do my raids on the 100.io. Other than je11ymaster posting up raid times...even I have a few times, no one ever joins up lol
 
I don't think it is that surprising, Destiny comes and goes and now there are more games coming out like Halo that pull people away. TBH though PS4 numbers aren't that healthy either, most raids are filled by the same core group of players like me, OweO, Drunzer, Corey, Turbo, Staley, Moe, Sonny, Apatia, Bluebear and a couple I probably have forgotten. I know others from here do raid also but they don't tend to join groups in this thread.

There's a few of us, but I think the people that normally take the reigns and organise the raids in this thread for XB1 are on Halo?

I'm not sure if I have you on my list? But I'm generally up for raids, strikes, nightfall, crucible or missions etc.

The XB1 community has always been smaller in here and I suspect the numbers have taken a big dent with Halo coming out. Pretty sure the XB1 numbers shrank down to one fireteam and they stopped organising on here as much too.

Destiny activity peaks and troughs, depends when content is released. Now I've beaten HM I'm just going to do that each week to gear up for the challenges and spend some time on other games, I have sunk some serious hours in since TTK dropped.

I'll see how trials goes this week.

If it offers as good as or better loot than the raid, I'll probably stop raiding.

The only reason why I'm raiding is to gear up for trials tbh.

I find PVE too boring. I prefer pvp by a huge margin it's so satisfying sniping 3 guys within 2 seconds. You just don't get the same rush from killing a bot.
 
Don't worry, the X1 community is still thriving :p

We just tend to have tighter knit groups that have built up over the year and so it's no longer necessary to arrange raids through the forum. I can't speak for everyone, but I arrange the vast majority of my raids through WhatsApp with people I met through this thread.

I'll still jump on the odd raid that's posted in here, but I'm usually booked in to do 3+ each week as it is. :)

We will need one more, couldn't get my brother above 290. Ideally both you guys cos one of the guys who was going to play is some unreliable random who is prone to dropping out, my others are work friends who are already online
