DiRT Rally Hits Steam Early Access

Guys don't you think it would be nice to have the view you get on the replays as a playable driving view ?

Its the cockpit view but its set back and you can see a lot more of the interier :p

Hi

I have just tested it with my Logitech driving force GT and its does not feel that great and that was with @100% ffb setting:)

It should be ripping my hands of the wheel but its not.

Thanks! That's disappointing to hear, the past dirt games had amazing ffb.

So far I'd class this sitting somewhere between Dirt 2 & RBR.

FFB is ok but needs a minimum force value on my Fanatec GT3v2, as driving straight even on dirt tracks can result in little to no ffb around the centre of the wheel.

Different FOV values don't seem to make a difference on triple screens atm ( well kind of triple screen - mixed res monitors at 4860x1080 )

Stages look very nice though. Very similar to Dirt 2/3, and runs just as well as those 2 titles.

How is the force feedback on the logitech wheels?

I'm finding it good on my g27. Not as nuanced as Assetto Corsa, but enough to make me sweat a bit!

Menu works very well with the on wheel and stick buttons. Would have liked to use the clutch a bit though Currently using the paddles for sequential, but tempted to use the stick instead

I've been giving this a go and it seems it'll be great when it's had all the issues fixed, At the moment some textures look pretty bad and if your not pressing down on the accelerator when you turn your wheel (In the Mini) the car does not turn at all. Which is crazy. Once there solved it'll be a lot more fun, The cars a handful and very jittery (xbox controller).
I have the graphics all max'd and certain things don't look that nice, For example long grass can look very pixellated.
I ran the benchmark and the fps was averaging around 91 with a 4790k and 290x on a 1080p screen running at 1440.

min = 75.09
avg = 91.68
max =107.9
