Divinity: Original Sin 2

Reached Arx now. I might have to up the difficulty tbh. Most fights are a cakewalk. You can get so much physical armour that you will very rarely come close to death.

Also found something that has annoyed me. I have been playing with Lohse, Red Prince and a hired follower, with Beast on the ship (beast and RP have been swapping all through the game though). I wanted to play fro a bit with both RP and Beast, so I dismissed my other follower and she disappears.... You have to hire them again and their stats reset, and their items go back to you. Should just stay walking around the ship imo.
 
Really getting in to this now and finding my way around the mechanics.

I love the way it gets you to really consider tactics and try lots of different approaches.

E.g. I was having quite a bit of difficulty with the witch in the cave due to getting overwhelmed by all the enemies. So I snuck in, teleported her from as far away as possible in to the middle of my party, clubbed her to death double time, quickly ransacked her corpse for what I was after and legged it before her support could get close enough to do some serious damage. Great stuff :D
 
I must be near the end now. Some really tricky fights in Arx. Overall Arx is good, but a bit of a missed opportunity imo. It is kind of like they rushed it a bit. It would have been cool of this was the act you spent the most time in.

Really annoying. I can't dismiss The Red Prince now. I don't really want him and Beast in my party as they are both tanky, but I'll have to I suppose.

Just reroll them to what you want? You can also just bin them off and get mercenaries on the ship.

I rerolled Beast loads, healer/necro, healer/two hander, is now a healer/dual wielder as I got a tasty one handed sword. :)

Got a little tired of the quests in Arx so just started killing everyone, great fun. :D
 
I can't respec anyone, I don't have a mirror on the bottom deck of the ship, it's disappeared along with everything else! I dismissed my merc companion, but now I can't dismiss Beast either so it looks like I'm stuck with them.
 
After 50 hours we've finished it, can't say I was very happy with the ending we got,
play the full game on coop then right at the end made us fight each other and the one who lost didn't get no end game cut scene no nothing just stuck there dead on screen, had to go watch a youtube video to see what the ending was.
 
I have to sell plates to the Innkeeper, food to the food vendor, armour and weapons to the armourer. I know they'll buy any item type, but it doesn't feel right to sell that mace to the chef. I think I have a problem.

:eek: I only just finished Act 1 at 41 hours lol. Dunno wtf I am doing :D
