Doctor Who

Dr Who needs putting to bed for another 10years until someone comes along with some decent scripts.

The writing this series has been appalling, the actors themselves have been OK, Clara put in some decent performances but Capaldi as the Dr is strangled with the writing. In no way shape or form should he be pandering to the impossible girl.

As for bringing back the master as Missy, I cant help but feel they have lost there way entirely (although i did love how she acted it out)

3/10 simply down to poor scripts and storylines.
 
Capaldi was really good but the series in general was pants. I think there was one, perhaps 2 decent episodes and the writers seem to come up with more and more dislikable characters every series. The master was a train wreck of a character this time around and Danny Pink was so dull and generally annoying that I just found myself wishing he would disappear.

Lets be honest though, you can't get too mad at Clara. She is mighty purdy.
 
Thank god that is over. That series was painful to watch. Danny pink character was cringeworthy, Capaldi not much better, at least Clara was decent eye candy. Poor storylines, bad dialogue and very bad use of what are capable actors (Capaldi struggled with very bad material).

Unless there is significant improvement I will not be bothering with it.

Mr Pink made no sense at all, and the focus around the relationship triangle was a complete shambles.
The season started well I though, and got continuously worse.

Agreed. The Xmas episodes are always a bit hit and miss imo. Generally too cheesy and childish, whereas I think this ep struck the balance pretty well between serious and cheese.

Okay it was clearly a rip off of Inception and Alien but isn't most sci-fi these days a regurgitation of someone else's sci-fi plot? Given the dross we have had to put up with for a lot of the latest series I was quite pleasantly surprised with this ep!
 
An OK episode considering it's a kids Christmas fairy tale. Clara looks as hot as ever and also love the way Capaldi plays a less caring Droctor.
