Doctor Who

Godamn sodding BBC making us wait till next week ffs! So in regards to the ending, wtf happens now?!
 
Just hope we dont get the standard generic ending whoch involves all the daleks and davros being wiped out yet again. Has to be away of continueing this a year or so down the line. And after this season which has been pretty crap the dalek episodes usualy bring some much needed ratings boosts.

Well this is interesting. The Doctor's regenerating, but Tennant's signed up beyond this series. Are we to get one episode of a new Doctor who manages to 'reset' everything and it all goes back to the old Doctor and how everything once was or is he going to regenerate back in to himself again.. Will be an interesting start to the next episode although, tbh, I don't care if Sarah Jane Smith dies.
 
That was possibly the best of the new Who episodes yet, a few big surprises and twists.
I can see why they've had to do a few cheapy episodes this season.
 
I have to say I hope they keep Tennant as he's been superb. I know what you mean with the speech but I didn't notice it until someone pointed it out so engrossing was the episode.

I'd much prefer Rose back as oppossed to Donna - can't stand the loud mouthed cow. The jokes are repeats and she just shouts - there's no real acting there. In fact I'd have any of the other assistants back bar her it was a big mistake for the show to go in that direction really and for me Tennants the only real reason (until tonights episode) that I've kept watching.

Great episode - would love for episode 2 to be on now though!

That was a superb eps given that the majority of them this season have been absolute crud. The effects were superb, as was the directing.

yes, iirc he's signed for the 3 specials that make up the 2009 line up (does that mean the only Dr. Who we are going to get in '09 is 3 measly specials? :()

Thats what I understood, no series in 2009 apart from the 3 specials.

Looks like I'll be investing in some of the classic Dr Who DVDs next year! (Except for the one with the giant bassets liquorice allsort monster! that was a silly episode)
