Doctor Who just doesnt seem sinister enough, it's on too early catering for family audience.

Even back in the day when we had Genesis of the Daleks, the background sounds made it quite sinister.

Daleks don't seem scary compared to the older ones. Bright coloured Daleks just don't look Evil at all, what aload of crap.

Was listening to the "behind the scenes" show they do while doing the tea.

It shows the weakness of a show when they have to explain what they were trying to get across!

Not impressed so far, stories are lame, unimaginative and uninteresting, the Doctor lacks the presence the last 2 had from the get go and it seems they are trying to force the side kick into a position she has yet to deserve.

Haha yeah, the Jammy Dodger was classic. The episode started well and then went downhill around half way through.

She is still hawt though! :eek:

Next week looks excellent!

And why can't she remember the Darleks, what's happened to the memory, something to do with the cracks?

Really? I thought the last three were much darker than most of the Tennent ones. The doctor especially seems much darker and "troubled". I can see him getting very vengeful at some point.

Love, love, LOVE the new Daleks. Those bright colours give some of the effect that the Peter Cushing movie era Daleks had - like they're the alien, death-dealing, unstoppable foe equivalent of a late '50s Cadillac

Dr who confidential goes into more detail on the designs, seems in the past there was a lot of different colours as they corrospond to their roles.
