Casting a vote doesn't mean that you have to argue. I guess that after 33 years you don't care either way?

I would get dragged into the arguments, I can't help myself, if you had been around in the football arena for more than 5 minutes you might know that. :)

Get back to your Chelsea history books son, you might be able to come in and discuss football then :)

Just saw this thread and I don't really post all that often anyway.

That being said I think he has to go, we've looked pathetic all season regardless of result and we're not even looking like we're going to show signs of promise any time soon.

No one really expected much this season, but losing to some of the teams we've lost to and being 7th in the league isn't even laughable it's depressing.

It looks as if our only chance of qualifying for next seasons champions league is if we win the ****ing thing. Bad times. :(

Telling us whether you want to sack him or keep won't drag you into an argument but if you you're afraid to speak your mind then best keep it to yourself. :)

Your jokes are improving son, give it a few more years and you might be taken seriously. :)

Again, if you had been around for more than 5 minutes you would know that isn't the case.

Taken seriously? You want to talk about being taken seriously :D

How about you discuss football one of the days and let us have an insight into your knowledge? Or just continue with your vanilla responses like a good little boy who knows nothing about the game :)

I'd give him more time if he actually had any tactical nous. He's awful tactically. Personality isn't a big part, I don't like his personality or way he presents himself. However if he provided entertaining and tactically brilliant football, I'd back him for more time because I n the end, it's the football on the pitch that matters.

But why on earth are there a whole bunch of united fans unaware that he literally has **** all for football brains at the top level. He's taken a squad that were great with possession, and passing the ball (often to recent years to no real threat due to lack of quality) however we are now completely inept and getting out played by bottom of the table scramblers... Due to hoof ball and tragic wing play. 'GET IT OUT WIDE, CROSS IT IN!!!!!!!!''.

There's giving time to a man with a possible plan to bring success, then there's a man who is literally one step above Sam Allardyce. You're all tragically misguided by blind faith in a man(Sir Alex Ferguson) who had many flaws himself.

That's the thing though, they haven't been a good footballing, possession team for quite some while now, certainly not in the latter Fergie years.

Black **** or just ****?

hmm rafa with a £200 million war chest.

Just no it's so wrong it doesn't bare thought even in jest

Actually if in some sick and twisted nightmare that The Glazers took leave of their collective senses and employed that Buffoon I wonder who would be frothing at the mouth more, Utd or Liverpool fans

I voted that he should be allowed to continue, until the Summer. No point in changing manager right now.

All in all Moyes should be allowed to build a team and then it's fair to judge.

I disagree strongly. Lets say he rebuilds a team over a 2 year period and consistently gets 5th place in the league, say. This is no good. The Glazers cannot afford this. Hence, he will be fired. HOWEVER, the new incoming manager wont have £200M or so to spend on new players because Moyes has already blown the transfer kitty.

At some point you have to look at the probability of success and make a prediction. Then go with that prediction. It might be wrong...but to allow a manager to do a complete rebuild, then fail, then get sacked. Then another rebuild. Man Utd dont have the funds to bank roll a 2nd "rebuild".

You look at the Mata transfer and you can see as clear as day the thought process behind it.

Yes, Mata is good. Any idiot could see that.
But I'm going to use another forums reply to this, to explain the point (I'm paraphrasing).

"My nephew thinks that we should buy Messi and Ronaldo. Great! Perhaps my nephew should be the new manager."

Basically, it doesnt take a genius to work out that Mata (or Ronaldo/Messi) are great. We need a manager who has the ability to get the most out of existing players.

Do you think Mourinho would've been struggling in 7th place, losing to Sunderland or Stoke?

We need a big hitter. Plain and simple. And at some point, the Glazers are going to pull the plug on Moyes, due to financial reasons...no matter what Fergie says.

How is Moyes going to fight in Europe against Real Madrid, Barca, Bayern? He certainly wont have a better team than theirs. He may at best, have an equal team, but not better. Or have Utd supporters now totally given up on European success?

I agree, but at least they knew how to win. This winning part (ie. outscore your opponent), is the most difficult thing in football and that what Man Utd are known for.

Some people are making out as if our team is a pile of junk.
Mata, RVP, Rooney, Januzaj, Carrick, De Gea.
These are all decent players and definitely better than anything that Sunderland or Stoke have.
Yet we lost to these teams.

At least you'd get closer to five european cups

Juventus would never sell him.

No game is a sure thing, especially in the PL

We also beat both Sunderland and Stoke earlier in the season, beat a flying Arsenal and made Jose park the bus at Old Trafford and play for the draw.

I'm amazed at how United 'fans' forget these glimmers of hope in what has been a glimmerless season :D
