I know i'll get lynched, but he should still be kept until the end of the season. There just isn't anyone else to take over and I don't want SAF back - as a club MU need to move on from him and having him back will just set things backwards.

If he doesn't get CL qualification as a minimum I don't think he'll be able to attract the player United need and as a result, he should go.

As for the man himself, it strikes me he's still thinking like an Everton manager (no offence intended to their fans). I was hoping he'd step up to the plate somewhat but I don't think he will.

[Edit] To add, if SAF was still there I think he'd have got 3rd/4th place, but not the title.

Can't be any more clear really, the longer Moyes is in charge of United the more damage he will do to the club. I hope he actually stays it's funny seeing Man United actually be an average team i have never seen that in my lifetime!

Yep mutual consent would mean they will pay his contract and he can go. I don't think they want to sack him as Fergie pushed for him.

I will be amazed if it doesn't happen this week.

It will be some turn around. Highly rated in general by those around football and in a job where he was practically unsackable to being out on his ear in 6-7 months and unlikely to ever get near a top 6-8 club again.

I guess he will get a good sum of money but he could have been at Everton for another 20 years.

I think the only person that doesn't think he should go is a fella called David Moyes.

Why would he walk on mutual consent? What benefit is that to him?

Who knows what clauses are in his contract. They might not want to sack him but rather give him the chance to leave rather than be seen to kick out Fergies chosen one.

They might offer him a better settlement to go by 'mutual consent'.

He might then fancy his chances to get the Spurs job ;)

You mean a bribe? :p
From a financial stand point, I would assume his pay off is much more lucrative if he gets the sack?
Or maybe it's in his contract they have the right to fire him depending on performance.

I for one hope he stays as long as possible :D

Please sack him. His record is terrible. Even in pre season friendlies UTD sucked. He has clearly wrecked the buzz in the OT dressing room. If they had go for Jose I have no doubt UTD would be challenging for the league and have some half decent signings. 28 million for the big afro. What's he worth now 12 ? Pffff

The 2nd biggest mistake UTD could make after giving Moyes the job would be allow him to spend multi millions in the summer.
