Driveclub more details

Very disappointed that they've gone from providing timely updates to saying nothing whatsoever. I won't bother buying this game now, I'll give the PS+ version a go but they're not getting my money. We're seeing far too many broken games lately and the only way they'll really learn that isn't acceptable is through poor sales figures.

I am so glad I cancelled my pre order for this and did not buy it digitally as I originally planned. I cannot support a dev that handles a release like this, they can't even get the PS+ edition out.

I'm not even going to bother with the PS+ edition, this game might as well never happened.

It's a shame really, even if it hadn't been an amazing game it could have built a reasonably solid racing community and it's certainly a genre that's badly unrepresented on the PS4 at the moment.

I think this has been given up on tbh.

Still arguing with Sony about a refund but they are not budging other than automated reply's now.

The way this has been dealt with is horrendous tbh.

I only paid £21 for my physical copy so I'm quite lucky I think. Part of me wants to keep this, part of me thinks **** it there are other games incoming now and this had it's chance.

It really is incredible this is still not fully working.

Sorry not up to speed with this thread, how is Driveclub now?
I'd imagine with the reduced load on the the servers (what with all the other good games that are out now) it is pretty decent?

Might give it another shot this afternoon.

Still broken.

Well it's a total shambles now to be honest.... Lost all hope for this title, I polished off what I could in single player, bemoaned the woeful ai and called it a day with this so far...

wish Sony had just kept studio Liverpool and released nex gen wipe out...

Agree.

Hopefully Formula Fusion gets made and comes to PS4! Video

Hi everyone,

The team at Evolution continues to work diligently to resolve all of the server issues. We know you have all been extremely patient and understandably frustrated during DRIVECLUB’s launch, and to show our appreciation for the support during this challenging time, we will be offering the premium DLC packs for November (25th November-SCEA/26th November-SCEE/27th November-SCEJ) free to those who purchased the full game.

These premium DLC packs – The Ignition Expansion Pack and Photo-Finish Tour Pack along with two livery packs – will give you a total of five new cars, 22 new tour events, 10 new trophies and 10 new livery items to play with online and offline.

The Season Pass will be extended to include four extra packs in July 2015 to ensure players who purchased the pass get everything that was promised. So on top of the free DLC in November, the Season Pass will still include 38 cars, 176 tour events and 80 unique liveries.

On Tuesday we will also be releasing our next game update which includes our first round of player requested feature updates.

In addition to Photo Mode, which will allow you to share your most thrilling moments with your friends, we will be adding:

• Improved multiplayer collision physics to reduce frustrating spin-outs
• Adjustments to soften the corner cutting penalty system
• Options in the club menu to view everything your club has unlocked
• A fix to allow all club owners to update their club badges

This update also includes the first new tracks, which we announced back in September as part of our plans to keep supporting and expanding the game as you play. These include the following free new tracks for online and offline play (also playable in reverse):

• India – Yedepalli
• Scotland – Wester Ross
• Chile – Los Pelambres

Although currently we do not have an update regarding the timing for the launch of the PS Plus Edition, we are continually working on improving the server capacity to enable us to launch the PS Plus Edition as quickly as possible.

Once again, thank you for your support. We are truly sorry that the road to delivering the full DRIVECLUB racing experience on PS4 has been such a rocky one.

So basically they created extra content to appease players while not losing out on extra revenue from the season pass!

They should have just offered the season pass to everyone that's already purchased the game for £9.99

That wouldn't work; people have already bought the season pass and wouldn't benefit.
