What engine? Difficult to swallow that as even the Gti 180 struggled to get near 7 seconds...

The standard GTi180 (which is actually 160bhp as standard) does it in 7.5 seconds from standard, with the right mods you can get it close to 6. The engine in my 206 is the 2.0HDi, completely rebuild engine, with a remap it's pushing 130bhp-ish (helps not having any back seats lol) just need an intercooler and a better map and I can get 160-180bhp out of it....if only I had the cash I could push it to 200bhp, but I don't have a spare 2k to drop under the bonnet

I am, however, much more interested in claims of the Toyota Prius having 'excellent' acceleration, hence the discussion of performance.

I'm not really into cars but when I flaw my Prius is does have some oomph the electric motor kicks in to help the petrol engine

I'm actually really regretting not hiring a Prius in New York now - I almost did for the lulz until I found a Cadallic STS for the same price.

This thread just keeps getting better and better and better. I mean normally we get one comedy gold poster per thread but I count 3 in this one so far!

0-60 in 7 seconds from a 130bhp 2.0 HDi Peugeot :D:D:D:D

Tbh he could have overclocked his Prius y0

:D - I look forward to your write-up of the STS, it's probably my 'next car' in line when I upgrade in 3-4 years, that or I'd think about the SRX if there was a good one - both V8s of course though (I <3 the Caddehs lol).

And a supposed obtainable output of 180bhp from adding an intercooler (surely it has one anyway?) and "another map" :p

Ace thread. Loving the buzz edscdk gets when he "flaws" his Prius, the Tyco motor must make all the difference, especially when you're charging the damn thing from the petrol engine mostly in the first place.
