Although he was on his hands & knees begging for it, my opinion on him has changed.
He wants it, really wants it & after hearing what he said I wouldn't mind if he got it now

I think Allardyce is a good manager. Will do anything to get a slight edge.

Trouble is you don't know what he would be capable of with better players as he is at Bolton and having to play ugly to be successful there at the moment. On top of that he looks quite ugly and has an annoying voice.

Thats a great point.
All of us mock his tactics and the way they play , but if it was a world cup semi no doubt our feelings would be different.
50 yard throw ins and hoofs from the centre halfs dont inspire me much.
He has some good players at Bolton mind , Id take a few to put into my squad.

At least the FA have sorted it out. I'll reserve judgement on whether is a good England manager after he has been in charge a few games.

What I find alarming is that the general feeling I get is that the players don't respect him as a coach, nevermind as manager. I personally think it's a bad choice and I'm sure many England fans will as well. The F.A obviously doesn't give a flying **** about the fan's opinion or the rest of the country and opted for the 'cheapest' manager so they could afford to carpet a few more rooms at the F.A headquarters.
