They really shouldn't have called this a beta. Its so obviously early stages of an alpha but calling it a beta helps shift units better I imagine.

I mean beta usually indicates the full product will be out at some point within the next 6 months but there is no way in hell they are adding another 5 maps, linking them altogether, building a class system (bear/usec is pointless at moment), adding hideouts and bringing in auctions/flea market within that time (plus all the other stuff thats required like optimising maps like customs and shoreline).
 
Imo well worth a purchase , I've spent hours playing this the last few days. The game is unforgiving and you will die a lot but the game looks great the sound is top notch and the lag is not as bad as it was (patched couple of days ago).
 
Personally I think it's superb despite not being finished.

The open beta should be out in 2-3 weeks if you want to give it a try before hand.
 
I didn't get any beta keys unfortunately.

IMO definitely worth a purchase, it's the best, most unforgiving, heart pounding FPS I've played in years.
