European Grand Prix 2010, Valencia Street Circuit - Race 9/19

Eddie Jordon is such an fool.

Eddie Jordan is brilliant.

Coulthard and Humphreys are far too diplomatic and avoid confrontation when talking to team bosses. Jordan tells it exactly how it is.

And for the record, I 100% agree with him in that bigger teams have no divine right to be gifted positions. If a driver for a Class B team wants to defend, then he should be allowed.

PS. If England lose the football game, it will be a scandal!!!

I would love to meet Mark Webber, what a guy! He's just had a God almighty prang at 150+ MPH, and there he is having a chat about it and stating how much he's looking forward to the next race! These drivers are an absolyte breed apart IMHO.

I just said to my wife 'Can you imagine having a crash like that in a normal car?' You wouldn't be walking away from it. F1 car design is AMAZING! I LOVE F1! :D

Not a bad spectacle..

Such a shame we didn't get to see Vettel/Hamilton/Button/Alonso/Webber side by side, they all had the pace at one point or another..

Koby defo man of the race, I loved how aggressive he was at the end of last year, and nice to see him holding his own.

Ferrari/Alonse, I can see how initially they may have sour grapes, but come on and look at the replays, it seemed just circumstance that caused Lewis to hesitate, being alongside the SC is going to make you question what to do, especially when you are probably also being fed info from your team at the same time.

I hope no major penalities ensue, the drivers did all dive for the pits, but surely they would have known that the accident wasn't in their way?

I also sense dejection from the drivers, LH/JB didn't look that amused, and I am wondering if it's because of the fuel situation? for large parts of the race, they are either saving fuel/tyres etc, they don't get to go flat out all race long and make the race about their abilities as a raw driver, rather then a statistician..

The webber incident, I actually put some fair blaim on him, he stupidly put himself at maximum risk and netted an accident again.. He knows the Lotus is slower, he knows it'll break earlier then him, He knows Kovi's fighting for position, but he too none of this into account, a really poor decision, but I am glad he is alright.. He's proving to be a bit of a liability lately, he may be technically in the right in all these incidents, but blimey he sure knows how to make sure he ends up off the track..

I just dont see Alonso getting past the SC line even if Hamilton had kept his toe in. So the result would have been the same for Alonso but maybe Hamilton could have challenged Vettel a bit more.

I dont think so much that it was alonso thinking that he could have beaten the safety car, more that he wants any chance he can at getting hamilton punished, and his first attempt didn't work, so now he is looking for more.

My comment about improving the race ...

They should put in some sweet jumps :p

After watching Mark go flying I take it back, bloody glad he was OK. Well done to Vettel, he drove a great race, bit disappointed we never got to see Hamilton fight Vettel near the end.

C'mon forum get back on !

They wouldn't be loosing if Stevie Wonder wasn't refereeing the match.

OffTopic: that incident will ensure that England come out really fired up. Also, while I don't have trust in our players (who are not particularly good), I have faith that we have one of the best football managers in the world, in charge of England. He "knows" how to get results.

But anyway...back on topic.

Wow a very eventful Valencia gp, it was almost entertaining! :p

Good to see Kobayashis last 2 laps, fantastic stuff. I think Webber was at fault, but a genuine mistake. Ferraris attitude was appauling, the cheek of Alonso complaining about a race being manipulated .

In order to overtake the guy in front, you have to be significantly faster. We saw this with Button and particularly with Alonso who was stuck behind Buemi for ages.

I know that Alonso got overtaken, but Alonso, had a poor race, IMO. Especially by his high standards. If I were Ferrari, I would be more dissapointed with Alonso getting overtaken, than with Hamilton's antics.

but wouldn't it have been good to watch the fight regardless of an overtake, I would have been hanging off the edge of my chair. :)

Cannot wait for Silverstone now, I just hope that the upgrades McLaren are bringing don't need 2 GPs to break them in.

Gutted at Merc's call to bring Schumi in, ruined his race completely.

Looking at Kob's run on hards, Schumi could have stayed out a lot longer and finished within the top 6.

Good effort on the last few laps though, a great big "F" you, to those doubting his ability to set good times.
