Tears of joy that Corbyn didn't get elected and tears of laughter Salmond and Robertson were ousted. Now we get to sit back and enjoy all these Labour MPs squirming that they really like Corbyn now. Hopefully Abbott comes back as well.

I guess both sides are happy then.

You don't have to put up with Prime Minister Corbyn, and we get to watch the Tory Party **** up Brexit and reignite tensions in Northern Ireland because Theresa May (rather ironically) decided to form a government with the political arm of a terrorist organisation.

Might not harm the DUP but will cause some serious harm to NI in general. May could open a box she will never get the lid back on and then she'll go down in hisotry as the mad PM that managed to kick it all off again. I seriously hope she knows WTF she is doing here. This sin't game of thrones and she needs to think about the country now and not her lust for power

Sounds like you think it's Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. It's 2017, not 1977. It was Corbyn who wanted to take us back there, not May.

you think a Westminster based government will be seen as impartial in NI when sleeping with the DUP. There is more at stake here than May's lust for power and once again she is showing that she will literally burn this country than do what is right for it.

The arrogance of some mps really is unbelievable. We should all feel sorry for those mps who were not elected guys... no more sipping champagne and dining on truffles and caviar...have to try and find a real job the poor diddums...however will they cope!

Its funny, because if they were good enough they would never lose their seat. For instance, Nick Clegg was probably a really good MP in reality, but got voted out because people were still sour over 2010, its clear people dont have as short a memory as the media continually implies.

The tories still bang on about strong and stable. They were up against a man who has been an outsider all his political life and who came to the forefront because ordinary working class people didn't feel represented by any politician. Corbyn came from nowhere to win a leadership fight. Then had to circle the wagons to fight off backstabbing establishment suits in his own party, not once but twice. Stood in the House of Commons at every PMQ being jeered and laughed at by a gang of elitist schoolyard kids. Hammered in the right wing press by multi millionaire owners who despise the plebs, throwing every bit of dirt they could. And how much moral strength did it take not to rise to it and retaliate in kind? A man of principle and compassion. Not in it for himself or his rich mates. Only one strong and stable leader that I've seen on my TV recently.

To be fair there was also a lot of tactical voting went on from bitter remainers led by the EU establishment puppet Gina Miller. Look at all of the upsets, Labour won a seat that has been held by the same person for 30 years, Clegg lost his Sheffield seat to them etc.

I do agree that Corbyn got a lot of dirt thrown his way to try to get rid of him but as soon May called the snap election the BBC etc couldn't have painted him in a better light. Perhaps that's why May called for the election now, another 2-3 years and Labour might have had a better leadership, as things stand they will have to stick with him and next election Brexit will hopefully be done and dusted.

Complete nonsense.

Correct.

form a government with the political arm of a terrorist organisation.

The Ulster Resistance were the Paramilitary wing of the DUP. While the Resistance no longer exists, there are still strong ties between the two organisations through their members and their families.

Furthermore, the UVA, who murdered a man in a supermarket car park just a few short weeks ago, back the DUP.
