*** FACTORIO: Space Age **** DLC pack announced!

I have a small q?. The description says that Space Age starts off after launching the rocket, so would it be worth getting a game save to this point to try it out. Or is there going to be stuff in the free side of the patch (2.0 iirc) that can be experienced/beneficial from the start?

based on all the comments your better doing a fresh game from the start with the new patch update to 2.0. the DLC will continue on from the 2.0 Rocket Launch.
theres a load of free stuff for the base game as well witht he 2.0 update.
one of the reasons for a fresh start is the technology in DLC gets moved around, also map generation can poentially be a problem if you get a save to that point and then enable the map.
thats my understanding at least.

wait a month after release for some one to upload a complete save file for you to download if you want to exprience it that way or look at the creative mode option
 
its gonna be a blast thats for sure. i dont think i've seen an estimate on houe much time the expansion is likely to bring.
also im guessing a fair few Blue prints will need to be updated also.

do you think they have "Wormsign!!" being yelled out in deep fremen,if not we need a mod for that :D
