I can't believe this man still has a job, this is a serious and public sexual assault and he must be arrested and spend several years in prison. The sportswoman in question must be entitled to several hundreds of thousands of euros in compensation for what has happened to her, poor woman must be traumatised for life. I stand with Spain.

Correct, sexual assault is not acceptable whether high or sober, this situation is not sexual assault though.

Big difference between taking a pragmatic view and defending someone. Immediately claiming assault is very odd when you look at it in context. I'm well aware that sexual assault is not acceptable whether drunk or sober but this situation is not sexual assault.
They should have just moved on and concentrated celebrating the success.

So a week on and instead of celebrating winning and thanking the Spanish football federation for all its help it’s now turned into something else. Was this not just the euphoria of the moment and nothing more ?
If she didn’t want the kiss then surely an apology would have suited and everyone moves on . I think there is more to this than a forced kiss and I’ll leave it there.
Anyhow Spain were the better team on the day and deserved the win .

If you look at it as if it wasn't done in a sexual way and instead was a moment of elation, you cant just outright say its sexual assault and ignore any context. I don't know if this guy is a sex pest or not but taking that vid at face value there is not much to get worked up about.

I just watched that there. First off he walks up to her and says on the cheek. So was clearly willing. Secondly he goes in again so is willing. She also basically said come and kiss me and offered.

Its not completely different though as he didn't want the kiss on the lips, so that could be classed as 'unwanted kissing' that was referenced earlier. The point is in both these situations the person was kissed on the lips without giving permission.
The main difference between the two situations is that there may have been a bit of a grumble from a few people regarding Katy Perry but probably flew under the radar for most.
