Yeah beta is suffering from a lack of high level (for beta) players. Hard finding a players for Longstops if usual group isn't online.
Once you hit around 20 from there on in its pretty much just FATE, Leves, Hunting log, and dungeons for levelling. I really hope they add more quests to the other zones though for a bit more variety.

It has been confirmed for PS4
I think the subscription starts at something like £7.69, but I think that's without character services added (like in the previous Final Fantasy MMOs).
cheers for the ps4 info i will judge the beta near the end then decide if i will pre order for the ps4. with all the f2p games coming to ps4 though 8 pound a month seems a bit steep in comparison even though im enjoying the beta

i managed to grab one for me and a friend off the cvg website i was told earlier that they still have some left it might be worth checking it out

Ahh ok thanks, i assume thecode i have used will grant access to that beta too?
There should be another P3 test next weekend before a break before P4.
Keep in mind for Phase 4 that progress will be carried over to release providing there is no big bug which requires a character wipe. So for those with beta access, Phase 4 is essentially go live.

How well is the game optimised? Will my 2GB 7850 and i7-2700k cope well with it? Unsure, it looks beautiful though.
It's really well optimised, the game is extremely stable not had one hiccup yet. The level of performance polish is brilliant.
As above my specs are;
i5 2500k @ 4.2 - 670GTX - 8Gb - Running @1920x1080 Max settings and I've yet to see the game slow down! So on my average rig it doesn't break a sweat.

Thanks guys! I got around 7k on high settings, around 8.5k on medium! Not sure what that means but yeah, I like those odds haha

.Have a good read of the beta forums for information, the ARR reddit page is quite good too (/r/ffxiv) once you get past all the people who are whining about none issues because they have no idea what is going on in the game because they don't read the beta forums 
Downloading it now. Hopefully there'll be another P3 this weekend so I can have a go. By all accounts it's looking great so credit to Square Enix for holding their hands up and saying "Okay our game was crap, tell us what is wrong with it and we'll redo it from scratch".
