Program like hwmonitor shows your current min and max temps . Useful monitor as well as ryzenmaster

I would take the board off the anti-static package and just keep it on the cardboard - the outside of packages aren't as safe plain cardboard.

Don't forget to put in the IO shield ! This is the panel for the side of the Mobo . Slots into the rectangle cut out by rear fan... I always forget this. Also takes a bit of force to get the Mobo IO ports through this panel

I've got the shield in, put it in from the inside of the case, believe that's correct

If they are off a few mm, you'll have to push the Mobo left into the IO rear panel . I tend to get the right top right and bottom left screws in first

The motherboard rest on these - the risers - then you screw into them to secure the motherboard.

Make sure they're lined up correctly with the motherboard holes before fitting.

Okay motherboard screws are going in. Going to leave it there for the night after this. Will takle the rest tomorrow.

LOL - i was thinking the same - with a slightly different analogy but the thinking was the same. Slightly worrying that you have both activities bundled together

Must admit when i start a build - i have to finish (you're analogy is going to make this full of double etendres from now on). I always have a few bottles of beer in the fridge and then build until it's finished - no rest breaks...
